We stopped at the turtle festival in Tillsonburg
Hmm. Never heard of that one. Looked at the lineup and it's quite a mix. Jazz-pop, country, roots rock, R&B. Not really familiar with any of the artists though Conor Gains rings a bell.

Enjoying the nice weekend but not really much happening. I'm just writing and doing a bit of housework.

Happy Father's Day to those celebrating. My son was in town last week so I am counting the time spent with him last week as my father's day celebration and kind of ignoring it today.

Worked at one of my sites and now it's back to remote lawn maintenance today, lol. The grass is so high it tickles your ankles. But it's gonna be my daughter on the lawn tractor, me on the chainsaw and Zach dragging branches.

Honestly, not a bad father's day.

I probably need to mow the lawn but I'll check. Writing and listening to German prog/alt rock right now.

Zach rocks when it comes to yard work. At least for a 9-year-old. And the engineering apprentice can already stack firewood better than most. He instinctively looks for pieces that interlock. It's pretty uncanny, given that I've never explained my method to him.

Autism ftw.

Even with my son, given his interests and capabilities as a kid, I was predicting engineering as his career path as far back as kindergarten. So I was not entirely surprised when he jumped from computer science to computer engineering after first year. And there hasn't been an engineer in my family since WWII (a maternal great uncle was a field engineer in the Canadian Army stationed in the UK) so this is entirely on my wife's clan, who are lousy with them.

I had never heard of it before either. I thought it was something similar to Woodstock, who actually have a large protected turtle pond in between a main artery of the city. But no....the stories strange but true.
The festival is based on a legendary promise from the founder of Tillsonburg that he would come back as a turtle when he died. Apparently he believed in reincarnation.
Happy Father's Day and to all the Dads here at WC2 !!!!!

There's a news item that said Trump vetoed an effort by Israel to kill Iran's ultimate leader.

Does the rush give the man an idea he can control Israel? Is this rah el 'n sufficient to dizzy the fixated on edifice! ...

Edifice:
  • a building, especially a large, imposing one
  • a complex system of beliefs
Does this fit any system of none sense that could be encountered in an unending Cosmo?

If a leader fails at the all-seeing character, can they be all blind due to disturbed desires? Could form a Black Band around the head like some creatures I've encountered ... the words have to be placed just right to get the remnants of the comprehensive effort ... now if "word" is god, etc. how might this be constructed! Talus ... a component of hardening up.

Yet so many are familiar with so few word ... or they rely on AI and they just don't have the natural connections ... a Black Network like Mac hiav ellians !

Initiator of social studies?

Social is so po' lie mis interpreted ... poll ya morie?

Our friend Red must be taking a day off today. I hope he's well. I'm setting up a snack and beverages table for the room. Enjoy folks.

Good morning! Happy Trinity Sunday to those who observe it, Happy Fathers' Day to dads everywhere on the continent. Baseball games, farmers' markets, a turtle festival, a poorly attended military parade, and many large, peaceful (albeit noisy) protests. Quite a busy day! Hope you made it through safely through all that! You can tell us about your day, and hear about others' days, as we gather in spirit round the Coffee Cart, over cups of tea and mugs of coffee. This morning we have date squares and brownies to enjoy. The baked goodies are nicely warmed, tea water is boiling, and coffee is just finished brewing. All is ready, all are welcome, come in and enjoy the refreshments and the company!

The trinity is said to be the lodging place for the all seeing Aye ... an evil thing to those that hide their darker side!

This has old origins ... denied by Mani ... but a base of some perceptions as declared by stone cutters of Masonic and Buddhist traditions ... isn't that swell?

Then if one only believes in blind passions ... is there room for comprehension? Maybe a psyche enigma ... manufactured paradox!

Bah, humbug. We don't do Father's Day in these parts. Mother's Day neither. We have Parents' Day instead. May 8th

Aren’t we all?

Some are authorities and believe it is all gathered round them ... thus they descend into flaws in the earth ... holes?

Where does the essence and vapor go ... like soul and spirit ... there are ups and downs until socialized ... go figure! It is said to take at least a lifetime of experience in violence and hostility ... then one seeks passages ... Gail Sheehy wrote on it, true to the line ....

Good morning! Happy Monday! Hope we all got through Fathers' Day and No Kings weekend. We gather round the Coffee Cart in spirit to discuss the events of the past few days, and the plans for the days to come, over coffee, tea, and cheesecake squares. The tea water is boiling, coffee is freshbrewed, and the squares are fresh from the bakery. Come in and have a cup or a mug, indulge in a treat, and share your thoughts! All are welcome, everything is ready.

Here in NB a 3 year old child was killed in a horse race.

Just too fast for father's day? Actually the gate was involved ... the starting thing ... weird what we do in a rush without much thought!

Cause is still being investigated! Therein a complex ... about Bones, races and healers ... English Patience ... imagine the variant ... crow 'd -ite?

Like a melody rising from the vale half forlorn among the pines ... 3 ringers ... basis of the evil Aye? It sometimes sails through the trees ... like Rah Moe 'n ... looking for a lost love ... that is concealed in the myths! Excuse the lisper ... then there are the dark and buried bone spurs ... very grasping ...

Vale Cons ... predators ... seem to appear out of nothing ...
