We seem to get a bit too relaxed now there are antibiotics etc. to treat infections. I hear too often about post surgery infections. How does that even happen? Careless cleaning of the wounds? Sloppy wound care after surgery?

I agree. We will learn our lesson, particularly when antibiotic resistant bacteria become more and more common; the hard way, as usual, for humans, I'm afraid. I'm no Suzy Homemaker, but I do have a tendency to have the odd open minor wound due to my skin issues. I am extraordinarily careful of this situation.
 
I got the trailer filled, and it got emptied. Starting again tomorrow with some help. I am contemplating going out and filling a couple of bags tonight before it gets dark. Moral of this story: never ask a United Church congregation for plant pots.
 
I would love to know what caused the infection but the doctor said…It just happens sometimes. The infection is in a very specific spot, deep so not surface. I’m now going for wound care daily and I’m taking the painkillers I initially didn’t need. I’ve gone from long outdoor walks post surgery to barely able to walk from living room to kitchen. The doctor yanked the staples out yesterday as one would rip staples out of a booklet. I didn’t swear…just made faces. I have to admit…I was depressed about this whole setback yesterday but I’m determined that today will be better.
 
In water treatment technology it is important to be aware of microbial activity and conditions ... but I am often told I'm crazy so I talk about such things in far out language so it doesn't bother folk that would rather not know about such matters ... it just the way it goes when so much intellect is disposed because of individual emotional disorders!

From there the simple becomes complexity, characterized as impossible ... far out EH? Nothing simpler ...
 
Good morning! Post surgery infections and doctors removing staples rather roughly, ongoing house cleaning, and all else that came up yesterday, and that will come up today, we bring it to the Coffee Cart with us. Thinking of Nancy, hoping that today will, in fact, be better; that Bette and her trailer will ASAP be done with the clearing out. We gather in friendship round the Coffee Cart, for chatting, support, and hot beverages, with a selection of cookies, fresh from the bakery. All is ready, all are welcome. Coffee is freshbrewed, tea water ready and waiting. Come in when you can and join the conversations!

Pot a ferry us as we ooze from the Earth ... or just potager? Is that like gruel ... Haggai? Mush ... well milled mortals passing the grinder ...
 
@Nancy I hope your infection goes away quickly and that the rest of your healing is smooth and uneventful. You've had an ordeal.

We've had a couple nice days. We visited friends up-island on Tuesday. It was a nice visit that included good food, a campfire and of course good conversation. I had a council meeting yesterday. It went smoothly. Another fire in the afternoon with friends.

We're getting ready to move on Tuesday. People are leaving around us. Tis the season around here.

We never knew what caused mine either but, yeah, they had to remove the staples and keep me in on an IV antibiotic for a couple days. Then I had a nurse coming for wound care for a while. Never realized I would eventually end up working in home care (at the time, I was just starting my first career as a librarian) but I sure appreciated it.
 
Good Morning! Happy Friday! How is everybody today? We think of those with painful infections, and hope they can be alleviated ASAP, that infections might be cleared away. We gather in spirit round the Coffee Cart, for conversation and support, care and community, and to partake of coffee, tea, and bear claws. There was an interesting article on the media recently about inflammatory disease that was related to something similar to rheumatoid syndrome ... it included some mystery diseases that are basically unknown because some authorities do not want to face certain facts ... thus stress relations and alternate facts!

This stuff can really be torqued ... like what we don't know can be extensive and Noah about it ... not a bit of speculation because that is questionable and complex.

So many of the populace would not go as far as to inquire ... thus it passes as peace at all costs until the debate erupts! It is like God and diversity ... thus God is ... shall we call it bifurcated? On needs to be up against science (observation) on this one ... thus conscience in some blasts!

I learned a bit about the confrontations of ethic and moral in my studies regarding bioethics and conflict resolution that never dies ... it is stressful work and some just refuse its nature and character shifts ...

Oh crap ... ignore this posting as it too ... isn't simple! Add it to the prodigal pile ...
 
Is there room for "dis"?

In the whims of God ... do such winds whip up whims that a facet of the populace will refuse to accept as something to be inquired about ... and thus very ancient old flames ... Don ET-ism in the forest of the mind ... a domain of vertigo!

Don appears as a void in different linguistic systems like Adonis, Apollo, Donna or some other beauty of word ... even Aphro-dites as blacker portions that you can't see creeping up un the night ... pixies? Them's the spots ... these sometimes grow to be like headaches ... auras in the tete ... as some folk avoid pondering about them! They could get right into the item of concern ... a tight thing those spots ... worrisome as Annie!

Is there a command about resecting idealisms but not worshipping them because on mortal ground they are imperfect ... perfection is all in the mind ... and few have faith in such concerns ... too bothersome said the Mule ...

What a donkey that will bring on as a following ... they require Pu Chere parts ... especially on bad grades ... these result in steep costs!
