Tales of Sharpies in the booths, bird watching with a new monocular, walks on the beach, the mounds of snow decreasing, and other things that came up yesterday, and will come up today, all comes with us as we gather round the Coffee Cart, where the conversation is nonstop, the coffee is always fresh brewed, tea water always at the boil, and scones warm and fresh from the oven. It was the election I realized that I'm no longer an Ontarian, no longer a Torontonian.

A squeaker of an election here. The conservatives parachuted a non-resident in to run and he beat the NDP by just over 100 votes. A lot of people were upset that the local conservative association was not allowed to choose their own candidate.
 
I should clarify that my walk yesterday wasn't on the beach really. It was at the beautifully developed waterfront, which is essentially downtown.

I am waiting to become Oma. Dil was started to be induced on Tuesday, had to go to hospital every day for several hours , nothing happened. Now in hospital since last night 9 pm, at 5 am today they broke her water, put her on increasingly stronger meds . At 4.45 pm today she was ready to push. It’s 8 pm now and still no baby.
They must be exhausted. I am sitting on edge.
 
Mr Paradox and I played Blokus Duo today. It is easily adapted from the regular sized board..No need to purchase the separate game and it's so much fun!

Good morning! Netflix filming sites, cancer hats, and a baby! Congratulations, Mrs. Anteater!) We gather around the Coffee Cart today to celebrate a birth, and to discuss what is going in, within us and around us. We chat and listen, extend support, laugh and weep, as we join in coffee, tea, and doughnuts. The coffee is fresh brewed, tea water ready to boil, and baked goodies are warm. Come join the conversations when you can, indulge in a cup or mug, and a doughnut! All are welcome, all is ready.

Don't forget our propensity for not knowing ... generating the alien comprehension of an unconscious psyche! Great masses have trashed that concept as prodigal ... so the sun goes down --- Hesperus? Who's Paris? It is a long story ... dark and mysterious! Like a streak in the market ...
