We were supposed to drive north for a high school race for Claire tomorrow. Nope. Sucks, but at least they called it early.

My daughter and ski racing are about the only reasons I'd drive anywhere right now.
 
I got out to crafters at the park this afternoon. A friend picked me up. It was nice. Hubby came and gave me a ride home. Getting out was good. I'm still not planning to walk far. Even the walk from the car to the room at the park was exhausting. It's pathetic.
 
Curiosity: we worried about a 25% tariff ... and yet the word today is that the 25% thing on aluminum and steel is in addition to the other 25% ... now who is confused about how avarice adds up ... to some kind of disc of accretion chit? The folly has to occur somewhere if it went up somewhere else ...

What stinks worse emotion or intelligence? It is said that brains are something else when cooking ...

Do you have a portable electric wheelchair Northwind. My sister got one. It gave her autonomy back

No. I did think about something for mobility when I saw a Hullo Ferries ad a bit ago. It is a great way to get from downtown Nanaimo to downtown Vancouver. A scooter or something would be nice for something like that.

I'm hoping though that this drug won't kick my butt all the time. My doctor may reduce the dose and that might help.

Got the plow debris cleared but there's still some shoveling to do. I am working from home today since my only in-person meeting had to be postponed to tomorrow due to an exec needing the room. President trumps IT Manager when booking a room. :giggle: (no reference to the current mess to the South of us intended)
 
For once, we didn't get snow. Sorry about the inconvenience and effort it is causing all of you. Heading out for a walk soon...and it will be easier with no new snow. (Aren't you jealous?) But if I sent you a picture of our snowbanks, you would no longer be jealous.

Our banks keep growing but are from the worst I have seen since moving into this house in '00.
 
We had snow with ice pellets and freezing rain on top. I took advantage of people canceling their appointment and got in for a CT that I was waiting for for 7 month- and could have waited up to two years, as it was low priority.
Baby has not arrived yet- I think Valentine’s day would be a good one to come, which would be in between two storms. Thankfully, Monday is a holiday and the storm Sunday into Monday will just keep me home. Hopefully with the power on.
 
Oh, and is there anybody who lives in cold areas who can give me some advice how to remove the frost from inside the windshield in an efficient way, other than letting the motor run, blowing full power on it and scraping it with a points card? I’ve broken two cards already.
