Oma is mother
Halmeoni is grandmother for a paternal grandmother.
Oehalmeoni for a maternal grandmother
Did you check that out in differing traditions? Isn't that grand how a mother grows into a grand position? The patriarch ... well paternoster ... he is nowhere to be found ... thus paedentry ... earning of things go in in the mists of the templar (an old expression about the abstract part of psyche). This is all laid out in the schemes beneath or feet ... as we hoof it along, as many, not learning much ... why? We were directed we shouldn't grasp wisdom ... it causes breakdown in the totalitarian avarice ...

In the great myth there is mother (MOG; psyche) and back of Ur the Sophisticated one at the base of philosophy ... bottom line ground of being ... hated by powers that wish to run on emotion alone ... where the triad trips into the 4 point thing ... sometimes coming up as the Compass of Freedoms in the US ... they lost it ... maybe displaced the lo' de stone? At the core sheem aye present a golden center ...

What's a sheem? Runs parallel to Ham and Japheth ... Mort never listens to much of this ... dead to psyche ... awed by the dark beauty at the core ... obscure (maybe even occult) as shrouded ... still Turin ...

Can the disassembled be reconstructed? Only under the cover of Nacht ... some in the shadows have a naik for alien process ...

What did the grand mother to to her mate? There are rumors shee ate eM ... like Kathy did ... it is all in the Ka ... Qua? Queue 'd up ... Skor ... a accrued points of mind ... collected where? Sacred eh! Keep a watch or lookout ... especially in the dark ...

Suffering from jet lag. Just can't get sleep back to normal.
I find jet lag gets worse with age. Fortunately, this trip was all on Eastern time but last summer's Baltic trip was rough, esp. since they are pretty far North so the nights were short.

I feel more normal today. The much needed shower was more tiring than necessary. Still, I'm on the mend. Slowly?

I talked to my oncologist on the phone today. My CT was a mixed bag. Some stable some progression. She has declared that the drug I'm on isnt working. I'm switching to something else. It's a little scary. Still, it's another option and apparently one of her patients has been doing well on it for two years. Here's hoping that will be my experience. :)

Yes....scary for sure @Northwind. I believe in prayer, so will include you in mine. Welcome home travellers...you were missed! I am working our our Annual Report, but getting frustrated and not receiving info in corrected or completed format. So, I send it back with a polite request. But, I'd like to be able to just compile....not badger!

Good morning! For those coming home from vacation, welcome back. May the jet lag disappear soon. For the new drugs, that work well for others, may they also work for you. For those involved in the "joy" of Annual Reports preparation and assembling, this, too, shall pass! All of this, and other topics that come up today, we bring to the Coffee Cart for discussion and support, over coffee, tea, and a selection of cookies: Chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, and a few other varieties. The coffee is fresh, cookies still warm. All is ready, everybody is welcome. Come by when you can and join the conversations!

Will join in the fun of a Coconut Vanilla Latte and a Lemon Cranberry Cookie

H*art ... what's a holy art? Hollowed for passages ... and other writs ... sub stance ... below the grade of totalitarianism ...

And still ... we don't know any better because of all that's buried ... forgotten ...

Our bodies are so complicated! This sounds like you are healing from the bug which is good news. Sending hopeful wishes for the transition to a new drug. Also sending a cyberhug.

Sigh...I have mostly an at-home day to catch up on things. I go to help my daughter-in-law later for a couple of hours, but, until then....leisurely housework, some church secretary work, and planning for my husband's birthday bash on Sunday. I'm taking the day off from visiting mom....I only go about 5 out of 7 days. My sisters and I communicate about who is going and when so she never has a day without family popping in. Even my brother (who doesn't really communicate with the rest of us) popped in on Saturday. Imagine his surprise when he saw me too. I acted as if it was normal for us to walk into Mom's room together, and I didn't pepper him with questions about his life in the last 10 or so years. I didn't want to scare him off!

I had two big outings yesterday. Friends are here from the north so we went for lunch. Other park friends are spending the winter on the Lower Mainland so are here for a few days. Several of us went for dinner at a cool Mexican restaurant that's in an old historic firehall. It was delicious food. It was nice to get out. I definitely feel better today.

Another death of a young 15 year old here of ... mysterious rheumatic disease ... none the less ...

Powers declare there is no such thing. Is there something we are not informed and told about for sacred reason?

Alien? I do believe in such as immaterial ... regarding something else ... out of sight? Perhaps ...

Yesterday being Seollal (Lunar New Year), Yobo and her family and I had a wonderful traditional Korean breakfast to celebrate. The actual names of the various dishes aren't known to me. I really must learn them. But we ate and enjoyed...
• Pork Dumpling and Rice Cake Soup (Mandu Duk Guk, something like that)
• Sticky Rice (Bap)
• Fried Tofu
• Glass Noodles (Jap Chae)
• Rice Cakes (Duk)
• Egg Battered Fish
• Anchovies
• Apples and Asian Pears
• Coffee

We aren't really doing anything special this year being as we are just back from vacation. Too bad since I am a snake myself.

More reason to party big next year

I've been told I'm a hare. What that means in the year of the snake, I don't know. Seems to me snakes eat hares

My son is a hare, wife is a monkey. Snake+monkey=rabbit must be new math or something.

Good morning! The complexities of the body, helping family, meals with friends, meals to celebrate a New Year, birthday parties, church work, general housekeeping, a lot to fill the day! We pause to gather round the Coffee Cart, for chat and support, and for coffee and tea, along with doughnuts. The coffee is fresh, tea water hot, and doughnuts warm from the bakery. Come in when you have a chance and join the conversations!
