oh my goodness.

Message to self -- be more cautious about texting.

i had been messaging a potential new housekeeper, Michelle, who advised me she was currently sick, but, would get back to me tomorrow. No problem.

I texted my son, Michael, to say "hey, you should go to shoppers". response: i got was "i went yesterday", to which i responded, damn.

Then, I realized that i was texting the new cleaner.
Lots of apologies from me, and a bunch of laughs from her.
Should be an interesting call when we do talk!
I did that once with an email but in a more embarrassing way....years ago I was letting off steam about someone in the family to a friend and accidently sent it to everyone on my email list, including the one I was complaining about....horror of horrors....

ouch.

it reminded me of the time when the chair of M&P at church sent an email to the board regarding how they wanted to fire the youth worker at the church, and cc'd the youth worker by accident. I was chair of CD (youth worker's leader) and had no inkling there were issues, other than traditional complaints from parents. The youth worker had no clue. It was NOT pretty. Youth worker read the email, called me. I logged in to look at email, and then, had to try to talk the youth worker off the cliff, and bring the chair of M&P to account.

I have received someone's lunch order and the details for a 50th anniversary party by mistake.

Wrong address both times. Someone with my first name (fairly common) both times.

Haha, I got mixed up today too. Mixed the number of two Red Cross offices together- and ended up calling the town hall of the one place. Didn’t notice it right away and started talking to the lady at the town hall about if they would have bariatric commode chairs…had a good laugh- and the lady at the real Red Cross I called afterwards as well.

Very interesting custom, I learned something new today.
Had to learn it 5 years ago when we first came to Korea. While we lived in Canada, we always celebrated the Canadian way. I guess we do many things now the Korean way. I mean, another example, we celebrate Chuseok much more than we do Thanksgiving

Good morning! How is everyone? Lots of talk yesterday, grandchildren visiting, fun with electrical outlets, disassembly and reassembly, or not reassembly; Korean holiday observations, good news about family members, slipping into winter time moods as days get shorter and nights longer, and other stuff that arises; we bring it to the Coffee Cart to chat, help sort out, receive and give support, and camaraderie, as well as coffee, tea, and doughnuts. All is ready, all are welcome. Come join the conversations!

Now that has an Eire of Arial tu ET ... ringer out there?

That's gonna be stepped up to very high voltage and very low amperage. It'll give you a little zap.

110V 15A is more of a buzz when you become one with the circuit. It's startling, but that's it.

People with heart conditions should avoid it. And when you notice it, stop touching metal things. And stay out of bodies of water, I suppose.

But when it's just going through you momentarily, it's fine.

Like Zoar Ba was all Greek and a disturbance to many ...

Dis association thing is debatable ... requires a constant! Thus population gradients were created ... expect down side ...

Good morning. Today I am hanging my head in shame for possibly bruising the beliefs of others at Bible study last night. We were discussing the Christmas story in light of an article that explained it as made up after the fact for particular reasons. I said that most ministers probably believed this but wouldn’t preach this way because of congregation beliefs. I should have kept my mouth shut because some participants were deeply shocked that the Christmas story could be questioned.

Bring me next week. They'll forget about your words in a heartbeat.

Christmas stories can be tricky because they are so beloved. Sometimes people don't want to hear anything about the mythological aspects. Even if they wonder about them.

This Christmas, just as in every Christmas, I'll be preaching that the Christmas stories from the Bible are 100% literally true. I expect I'll shock none of my listeners when I do so.
