Went for a long swim from our end of La Ropa beach in Zihuatenejo to the far end this morning, about a km or so. Took just over an hour. Finished by stepping on a sea urchin on or near the rocks at the end. I thought I had weird slivers of rock in my foot. My brother in law, when he looked at the bits in my heel realized they were from a sea urchin. Beautiful weather but too hot for me for the middle part of the day.

I have had a bit of sharp coral removed from my foot but never an urchin. Ouch. Sending healing vibes, Jim.
 
There is a reason why I paddle only in domestic waters of my intimate acquaintance. Except for floating around the canals of England, and the odd road trip across Canada or the U.S., I am largely an armchair traveller.

I had to look up where you are, it's beautiful. Hope you are having a good time despite the nasty critter slivers.
 
We are having a great time. My foot has almost no pain in the heel now. Zihua is my favourite tropical destination. I have a tentative plan to come here in October of 2026 to use up our vacation points for an hotel in Ixtapa that we bought on our first trip here a bit over eleven years ago.

Good morning! Happy Saturday! As we mark the weekend with celebrations, dinners, and parties, may we find time to relax and reflect and enjoy. pouring a coffee here and planning the day.
Planning the day. Need to plan for Christmas baking with the Korean neighbours, Rouladen dinner for all my friends and family on the third of Advent, and the weather is supposed to go from -5 to plus 4, so outdoors lights need to go up.
Last year I skipped on much of the Christmas deco, but this year I think the Koreans are getting a kick out of it, so the Christmas village went up this morning.
My old neighbour has been in the hospital for most of the week with an infection and fluid in his lung. Next week they want to try and drain it- but I think it is not looking good. He doesn’t have the will to live, I think.
 
I really don't need the stimulus, just the freedom to relate to my studies in alchemy, relating, and steroids as chimera in the human composition of making something that connects body-soul essence a figment in my head that some say is completely out of mind and near headless (approximation of red-neck) from the Huguenot story said to be a myth by Latins made up by franc folk in you*Ra*Pein (payne, pathae) tongues that cannot accept ideas from the far east considered evil philosophy! It you spit it out carefully you could cause a spin stir as they may demand a frontal approach and you say foul things straight to their face so it can hit them form Allah ... in legitimate connectivity of differences? Another bird-bees scramble ... and a buzz evolves that is irrevocable unless abortion and censor s' ouđe ... expect there will always be the stat*ute of Morte as a place to place comprehensions you'd rather not face ...

Ute's must also be appreciated int the expansion process of dead space where exists nothing that can be well defined from down here out of your tree ...

Did you know that some people cannot accept the fruit of the tree of knowledge that is said to be beyond us if we deny thoughts, information of virtue and intelligence as one and the same portion of sole confinement ... a singular event in all of time ... it'll come tp a character time after time until it is finally driven home ... like ONYX! Good morning! Got my shower fixed. Alas, now I have a hole in my rec room ceiling., :sneaky: It was quite damp up there so the plumber suggested waiting a couple weeks to get it fixed so things can dry out

On to other things in life.
 
Walked doen to the beach to see if wny baby turtles made it to the water during the night or this morning. None got past the birds with the big feet. Fly to Calgary this afternoon, home tomorrow.
