While waiting at the cash at the grocery store I saw the tabloid that Melania is divorcing Trump- rumours? I mean, how could anybody live with him anyway?
I am off to work today, hoping for a quiet work day.
 
Good morning! We think of house clean-up and renovations, procrastination, and 'divorce rumours' along with all the other stuff that comes up, and bring it to the Coffee Cart for discussion over hot beverages. The coffee is fresh brewed, and the tea water is near boiling. Come in and join the conversation! All is ready.

Living with Trumpism ... defines de ath end of a bad legend! May require some word movement ... something that folk fear! The greatest fear is of moving words inciting change ... few grasp such subtleties ... leagues deep? Pronoun dites ...

The world "tabloid" probably says a lot right there about the likely truth of it. I once saw a picture on a tabloid of some president (Clinton?) meeting with aliens. :rolleyes:

As for living with him, if he's not abusive and leaves her to her own ways, she's probably fine with the lifestyle of living in luxury at Mar el Largo and his other properties. Sometimes being comfortable trumps (ha ha) good company.

Some of us can live with the tabloid nonsense ... some are too pious about it ... and the humour goes down ... subtle?

Thus the requirement to read into d' fete no Ire ... I Rene good night? God rests, still ... if you consider the hate about the large tragic comedy we've created ... depreciating? Into the pits as Dan went to tend the embers ...

Which is why the "IF" is there. :rolleyes: Funny how some of the worst a**holes still treat family members with respect, though. You never know. Heck, he still apparently got on well with Ivana until she died and they broke up because he cheated on her with the woman who became number two.

However, my bet is that he takes good care of Melania materially even if he neglects her otherwise. She knows too much and could really make life hell for him if she wanted.
 
It's a rainy day here today. Rain is in the forecast for the next few days. We'll be moving to our winter park tomorrow and will be having supper with friends from AB.

In the meantime, I have a book to finish.
 
Busy, but manageable day at work. I am trying to catch up with the outside work and fixed some pieces of my fence. Having a rest before heading out to the local theatre where I am volunteering giving out programmes and tidying up before and after the show.
 
Busy day here. Cleaned two fridges at the big guy's (one of his roommates died last week, so we're making kitchen adjustments before new roommate(s) show up), and organized dry goods. Put a second coat on kitchen ceiling at my house. Got grocery shopping accomplished. Required a late afternoon nap.
 
Today we won a little battle. My husband has been calling bylaw officers, and the local Humane Society multiple times to complain about two neighbourhood dogs we have nicknamed Yip and Yap. They bark a high pitched steady bark for hours at a time. Their owners leave them outside late into the night (sometimes until 2:30 in the morning) and the dogs bark continually. It really gets on one's nerves. Today, the fellow from the Humane Society visited them and then called my husband. Apparently, these dog owners are also breeding dogs and have a second litter in their little house which is also full of at least two families. They were told about the laws they are breaking and the fines they could be charged and that they will be checked up on again. And....all day....not a peep from Yip and Yap. (I actually felt sorry for the dogs...never out on a walk, and now I feel more sorry that they are just for breeding purposes).
 
Good morning! Happy Sunday! For tabloid headlines that grab our attention, for rain and manageable workdays, for continued house cleaning, and fewer yips and yaps in the wee hours, for other topics and thoughts as they arise, we gather round the Coffee Cart for friendship and hot beverages, and the occasional goodies. All is ready, come and join in!

Ever wonder if there is some mysterious roots to humans overbreeding to support brutal assertiveness on the part of those without a sense of reason? They say that everything can be rationalized ... and thus we accept nothing as a solution to the most foreign enigmas ... displacement of knowledge, information and wisdom as nuts form in the tree of wisdom ... in a very unusual mental phenomenon ... psyche departure?

So ide goes ... materialistic breakdown! The importance and critical nature of psyche process as something alien goes down ... phobias?

Should feint fears be respected given the news today that the economy is suffering although problems for basic people are inflating ... and no one is comprehending to matter! Some matter is obviously of little matter to a small fraction of humanity that misunderstands consequences when they do not accept that consequence exists ... just a bad dream to the excessively comfortable? Does bad news get contained well or does it expand? Wrot in th' ought; maybe roué?

We're headed out for Sunday brunch with family to celebrate birthdays.
Then we will go back to oldest sons and daughter-in-law's house for cake and presents.
 
Heading in from being out to church ... and a sermon that indicated that maybe vivacious love should be rendered down to respect for more things and additional anti materialistic trends ... thus alien essence!

Travelling th' oughts are nothing to the exceptionally emotional!
 
Another pleasant day for me. After church (where I did slides, which is fun, and big guy and D just sit with each other without me in the middle), had brunch with my friend D_____ at the big guy's, followed by a Sunday afternoon drive up to Orillia, stopping at the lake at the Leacock Museum), then Mariposa market, and back the back roads (Sunday afternoon coming southbound in cottage country is 'interesting'), and then Sunday dinner (glazed ham shank with pineapple, special scalloped potatoes (caramelized onion, veloute sauce and goat cheese), a nice salad, and famous Mariposa Market cinnamon buns for dessert.

And sermon was on Matt 16:1-20. The rev being our social justice rev, she honed in on the Guaranteed Liveable Income slant one can easily take from the parable.
 
Well we're in our site until May. We had a fabulous dinner and visit with friends. This pub has a roast beef and Yorkshire pudding special on Sundays. Of course three out of four of us had that. It was delicious. The fourth had seafood (formerly crab) cakes. The food at this pub is always wonderful and today was tops.


The car was further back to give our friends room. There's at least a car length in front of the truck
