I went to a sewing class today. I did very poorly, or it felt that I did.

I think a combination of tired and not prepared as I should be

I'm finding myself melancholic. Not about anything in particular, just that feeling. Think it is the consequences of being at utmost attention and adrenaline for a month

4 washrooms for 2 people? Or am I wrong about your living circumstances?
 
I grew up in a two bedroom house with my parents a brother and a sister. We had an upstairs toilet and bathtub. A downstairs kitchen and sink. My memory tells me that handwashing was a rare happening.
 
Good morning! Thought I had already done this today, but it seems to have disappeared? Anyway, for sewing, bedrooms and bathrooms, pumpkins and water sports, and all the rest of the stuff that happens, the Coffee Cart is open. Come join us

We are 2.5 for 2 but that's because we aren't ready to move yet since Little M left. We also have 4 bedrooms, with us in the master, home offices in two, den/library in the last.

But I grew up with 1 bathroom for 5 people. Dad eventually put a 2-piece in the basement, bringing us to 1.5.

I have seen a similar thing with "boats" constructed from beer cans. Not very seaworthy.
 
Still coughing today but I think I'm improving. I'm going to tackle the pile of dishes created over the last three days. I'll probably do it in phases even though it's not a super huge pile. There's just two of us here. Ah how I wish the dish fairy had shown up.
 
I have washed the three days plus of dishes that were on our counter. It looks so much better and I'm glad that task is done. Now my feet are up and my nose is going into a book.

In this old mill town the bathroom took up an outlandish position for some years before modern crockery moved in ... crock takes on a variable meaning!
 
I always wonder about how any of us managed with one bathroom! My husband...9 kids, 2 adults, and....one bathroom! Currently, two of us live in one house with two bathrooms...which suits both of us just fine!
