Just type @ then the first few letters of the name. Suggestions will come up and you can click on the name you want.

If you leave it that way the poster will get a notification they have been mentioned in a thread.

Or you can backspace over the @ sign if you want the name without the tag.

Even relatively low impact can be a big deal. The best way to support your family is to be as healthy as you can be. I hope you get your health back on track and that things go well with your family member.
 
I helped with our friends' move yesterday. Their apartment is nice with a gorgeous view. We got most of their kitchen set up and other things assigned to places. Their new bed arrived. Camp chairs were set up on the living room. They don't have furniture since they've been living in a fifth wheel after selling everything. They'll pick up some in May that has been stored and will be shopping.

Today will be quieter and will include more work on a sweater

Interestingly, I've seen this happen with the vanlife crowd on YouTube. One of the longtimers (she's been doing vanlife for 5 years, the last 3 with just her doggie for company) recently bought an old house and started doing videos on renovating it. Basically this same reason. Still has her "skoolie" (school bus converted into a motorhome) but plans to just use it for vacations now.
 
I'm feeling that creep in a bit. When you live in an RV you have to have a sticks and bricks address. We use my sister's address which happens to be in another hospital catchment area. I've put our park address as a permanent address and her address as mailing for the health authority to show a presence here. Still, I get appointments set at the other hospital. The hospital that diagnosed my sister's stroke as Bell's Palsy. :mad: I'm sure it's understandable that I have zero interest in going there. It gets frustrating having to call and get things sorted out every few months. Having a "real" address is becoming more attractive.

That being said, this park has so many benefits that are hard to give up.
 
I know a couple who did the RV thing for several years. Their daughter lived in their house while they traveled and they ended up returning to it. Very happy that they experienced the RV lifestyle but didn't want to do it forever.

We considered doing that and might have if our house had been somewhere we wanted to live. That's probably the smart route.

My heart is with a family that had a major health shock as a result of routine tests after a fall. Hoping for the best, but as many know, the time during diagnosis is full of ups and downs, changes of plans, adjusting and questions

In addition, I have had a recurrence of bladder issues which mean a very uncomfortable time, and sleep that is interrupted frequently.

Between the two items, I am feeling rather rundown. This too shall pass. Everything has different levels of impact. Mine is low impact relatively, and I look forward to feeling better, and also making my own plans regarding supporting the family.

That's reminding me of some of my apts during university! And our house during reno phase! Nice that you were able to help your friend settle in - moving seems a big job now that I haven't done it for many decades.
 
Running between appointments on this cold day. Got medications mostly arranged at least, hospital pickup likely next week My pharmacy is ticked off with the one clinic I had issues with last week. A few people at the pharmacy tried and had issues. Managed to get that sorted by calling a different clinic, different specialist.
 
We had snowfall since the early morning hours,supposed to give 10-15 cm. It slowed down at 1 pm and wad 26 cm by the time I got off work. -8 degrees with it. The nice fluffy stuff - I can finally get my snowshoes out tomorrow! Will be -20 with wind chill,but should be good for a little round on the golf course.
 
We have another snowfall warning for tomorrow. I plan to make chicken noodle soup in the Instant Pot for supper. I'll likely also get more done on my sweater.
 
As I analyse the news this morning (a thing discouraged by power) I see that Florida is making laws to deny anything theory; might this be the end of Theos abstract as theology goes as ... well ... just theory until some evidence is found for Theo?

Did you know that Theo was once a metaphor for God as De Oz goes? Sometimes indicated as demi sphere setting on the horizon as del eight goes down ...

What you see is what you gets except when being fed a duality ... divine if you ponder it adequately as it splits ... another demi thought gone ... out there while the desire remains! A form of myth? Perhaps an archaic or ancient distraction from what initiated us ... holi phoque! Some say folk up there... beyond as AD! Thus the descent of visions ...

As we think of health problems of our own, and our families, family outings that left a sense of disappointment and sadness rather than joy, volunteers who are taken for granted by organizations that should know far better, helping friends move, entry and exit from RVlife, for Florida, the state that seems to be closing itself off from sanity; other topics, the Coffee Cart is up and running (given the discussion over in the Last Post Thread, we may wantto expand the offerings of types of tea). All is ready, come join the fun!

Thoughts disposed by power of mankind thus remain ineffable ... say'd Tobias illegitimate ... a stretch of myth as to expand psyche ... believe it or not and thus BS a freedom denied!

It is said BS is a singularity ... a thought disseminated? Family out ages ...
