Some folks claim it is a wild environment and other claim it is tamed, domesticated and all in hand ... a vast disagreement?

Thus the conflict speads as in sa nity ... it was black and whispy! Like the winds of passion were let out ... mental enigma of Catch 22 nature .... 4 sum?

The gentile stood down into understanding ... especially why some would argue over something they know nothing about! High brow flipped out ...

Good morning, all! Monday has arrived! Let us raise our cups, mugs, and glasses in salute! Time to rise and shine! (well, at least to rise) The coffee cart is ready with hot beverages, the Room is ready for discussions. Come on in and join the conversation.

Maybe some of us will enjoy hot chocolate. I made some yesterday for my American grandson, who told me that it is called 'hot cocoa' in the States, and is never made with boiling water, always with hot milk.

I have heard of making it with hot milk but did not realize that was an American thing. Probably makes for a richer drink than water I would imagine.

I tend to not drink it much. Too much sugar in the commercial ones. Maybe if I can find a recipe to make my own mix that is lighter on the sweet stuff. My last A1C was getting into iffy territory (but includes part of the period when I was recovering from C-19 so that might be a factor) so got to be careful.

Good day and happy new week. Hope it's a nice one where you are. Nice here other than a tad chilly.

We grew up on a farm, so always made hot chocolate with baking cocoa and warm milk....We had plenty of milk so it seemed wrong not to use it! I remember not really liking it.

We always made hot chocolate with milk and cocoa. In fact I don't think instant hot chocolate was available back in the day.

Today is scan day for me. Here's hoping all continues to be stable.

Finally shifted from wanting to do some baking to actually baking. Have dough for a grain loaf rising and should be able to make it into a loaf soon. Then got dough for cinnamon rolls rising. It should be ready to make into rolls in about an hour. Also doing some laundry. B's pneumonia seems to be easing so washing sheets and pillow cases. She is trying be to overcome it before starting radiation next week. All going well, the treatments should be finished by the first week in January. She plans to stay at the lodge at the Civic campus of the Ottawa General Hospital during the week. We are grateful that it is available for patients from over 40 km from the hospital getting daily treatments at any of the campuses of the OGH (Civic, Riverside, Main). We are about 115 km away.

I stayed at the cancer lodge in Victoria for a week during my radiation. I wished I'd booked for two weeks. It was an excellent experience. It was nice to visit with others getting treatment and we were fed well. I hope all goes well for B. Radiation is scary as spit but isn't so bad.

She has had radiation twice before. The first time was as a surgical tool for a meningioma between the two halves of the brain. The second was twelve doses of lymphoma in the muscle behind her left eye. This time is 16 treatments of lymphoma in a nerve in the jaw. She will be staying there from the evening after the first treatment that week until the morning of her last treatment that week each week for four weeks.

Let B know that she's got a lot of Wonder cafe people rooting for her! And you too....It's a team effort, isn't it?

When I was a kid in Pennsylvania, cocoa was always a hot drink made with Hershey's cocoa powder, hot milk, and likely a lot of sugar to taste. If we were in a hurry, Nestle's Qick powder would do. Then, at some point, some ghastly powder called Swiss Miss came along (Some with its own mini-marshmallows!) using only hot water, and life was never the same after that.

Good morning Scan dates coming up, baking, hot chocolate and cocoa, all sorts of topics, from serious to not-so-serious. Conversation flows like coffee from the pot. The coffee cart is ready to supply hot beverages for all the conversations, light hearted and more serious. All is ready.

Here in NB with all the efficiency cuts to raise profits for God knows who ... the changes of getting a scan adequately processed fall under the belief of minimalization. I suspect that the next requirement for medical attention will be terminal opening up the gates of hell and a new well lit 'r Ares world ...

There are rumours that the administration knows who is benefiting but it is ineffable! Like Moses folk they do not speak directly to the point ... a diabolical quality of varieous myth creations!

Second thought: this may appeal to republican folk building empires, where a populace voting is not acceptable to the emperor that many cannot see because of those blinded to transparency ... consequence is the constitution is considered *hit ... it must be blown away to make room for ... you guest ide! Thus that noble bcreature inside ... some say the lizard psyche white phermones ... part of the limbic system!

The stuff and crap we don't know as crap may be fertile to another creator ... thus the essenca may grow on you ... like an aura of something that you have to make a decision about ... hopefully balanced so it will float adequately! Is that fey or fugal in your thoughts?

What a semantic heap eh ... soem say a pile of unknown word to sustain those wishing not to know ... especially about how trasparent virtue incarnates! Expect a mean light to appear ... just spark? Could this ne clear Ayre, or Eyre? That persistent item ... of shadowy nature ...

Like psyche the normal people are paranoid about intellect ... they will go with the beast, bull, or other force first ... nothing gentile to that creation ... the thing had fits ... like a hermit needs a shell to fit into ...

Good morning! With slightly well-done cinnamon buns to go with the hot beverages, the day looks top be off to a good start! Come join the conversation, all is ready!
