Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

A community where we discuss, share, and have some fun together. Join today and become a part of it!

Good morning. We're getting ready to go to a local eatery known for spectacular breakfasts. A nap will likely be in order afterwards. We're joining a friend who is a local UC minister and who has never been. Good discussion will be part of the visit

Hope you get to discuss the strangeness of the unknown stretch ... an ankh to many! Can't go there????? No reason for curiosities ... enigmatic! Like a viper with to sides ...

*sigh* Today a group from people are off sick from work. They were ones who just grabbed food at the BBQ and went inside. They also all work together and socialize together, all are Chinese/speak Chinese.
So overall my risk is low but not exactly the most encouraging thing shortly after going to a group event and easing up a bit being super careful about COVID. Will see if anyone else gets sick, there are others who work in the same spaces but with the lab there's fumehoods so it may be moreso the social aspect at work and not the actual workspace where whatever spread. I don't know if anyone actually had a positive COVID test, so it could be the flu which is circulating.

Good morning! For great breakfasts with good company, for the ill health of coworkers, for the thousand other topics we have, let us gather round the coffee cart, for hot beverages and conversation and support. The cart is up and running, join us.

But say nothing of the urge to challenge them claiming to want more competition ... that is to be driven from the game by some type of fear ... copperplate? It was once well sanded ...

Hello all from hot & sweaty southern Ontario. We are in our first 'heat wave' of summer - it's a big adjustment! Thankfully it will be short-lived.
I'm off to a birthday dinner celebration for a 6 year old who is part of my life. Should be fun - and probably loud!

Last evening I went to a National Geographic Live presentation - first time out to a 'big event' in a very long time. It felt a bit weird, but the speaker was (as they always are) EXCELLENT. Took the train downtown - which was quite an event too - there was big Slipknot concert at the Budwiser stage - yikes - very rowdy crowd, all maskess on the train. Fortunately we headed home long before they did! LOL

It is about 20 here today. I'm waiting outside laundry room in the shade. It's quite nice though the breeze is cool.

We got to about 20 today. We are on the cool side of a front separating hot southern Ontario from mild Southern Ontario.

I'm on the warm side. Got half the grass cut on Sunday, and it hasn't been cool enough for me to finish yet, and now they're talking rain tomorrow...

We're heading east tomorrow. We'll be driving about 6 hours to another community in BC. Ultimate destination is Calgary area then Edmonton area on the 8th. We're planning to connect with friends during that time.

The mobile RV tech came by today. We may have to come back to Kelowna in August to get a hydraulic something or other fixed so our slide will continue to work. It's okay now, just avoiding problems down the road. He fixed a drawer that had come off its slide so that was fabulous. The little things are big. We also learned that the microwave/convection oven that crapped out can be replaced under our extended warranty. Yay.

Good morning! Today the heat in these parts should go down to a more livable level. We gather round today with thoughts of weather, roadworthiness of mobile living quarters, National Geographic presentations, and all the other little and big stuff that makes up life. The coffee is perked, tea water is near a boil, all is ready. C'mon in.

And still we are up against the black and white ... the unknown extent and that all washed out ... because the twilight zone is denied as either pole did not accept counter dreams ... creating night mares ... that other horse!

There was a well read horse but that rode off into the unknown ... as departed psyche ... and her complicated friend ... in a domain deigned to be simple ... yet still some twists on the fringe ... cordage to the next ide? Brigid ... a kind of Arche friend to nowhere ... given what's out of the running ... deposed tho' d ... that thud in the dark? Lumps be received ... gobs ... of code ... stringers? Expect in time some disentanglement ... yet near invisible connections to what passed ... only for the ass tout ... Rocky Exhaust System.

Nothing left by Freudian vapours ... some may settle for a walkabout in a wasteland ... after demolition of the given ... what is done to the rising Eros when denied education and experience ... and some position themselves without the latter ... no Beta than afore ... but in legalese you can't say that ... thus poesy ... foul flour? Addictions ... become a protocol ... as a rule ... habitual! Like the breast of an "L" ... read it as you will ...

Some say it is part genesis and countered by exogenesis ... from which one should observe balance ... or become over come as past-ova ... imbalance seems popular! The question is where to put in the systematic fallacy ... destructive influences? Mores unknown than you'd accept ...

Had another discussion with eastern church administration a few nights ago and the hard line administration remains ... unchanging habitual?

Thus here and now there appears little ways out of the situation we have composed for succession theory! Do not draw from depths ... thus we druid! Lest we forget ... what! ... we can retain little ... imagine on what's out there ... vast abstract! Dark jewels ... projective ...

Can we learn???? Obviously that is an obscure potential ... very nebulous grip ... not a place for indeterminates ... thus the unknown is sued here and now ... mysterious domains?

Germany is doing a trial for three month selling 9 Euro (about $13) monthly tickets for all public transportation and regional trains valid in all of Germany. So far, ticket sales have been huge.
Of course, European transit and transportation systems have long put ours to shame. I have never driven in Europe. Almost every major European city I have been in has had some system that was easier than trying to drive, whether it's the Tubes and double decker buses in London or the trams in Zurich or whatever. North American transit systems, by comparison, often leave a lot to be desired. And even between cities and countries, there's often good rail options. Much better than our rather sorry Via anyhow.

We are tentatively planning to be just south of Calgary some time between the 6th and the 1oth. Any chance of coffee or something?

Absolutely. We'll be in that area, likely on the north side of town from about Friday the 3rd to Wednesday the 8th. I'll PM you.
