Good morning! Today is Truth and Reconciliation Day, a new Federal holiday. Let us celebrate the day finding truth and seeking reconciliation. As the coffee cart is up and running, we can begin here with caffeinated beverages and conversation.

Also, kudos to those who have won awards for their gardens!

As we enter the journey of this day as it faces us ... are there vast doubts about general occurrences and doings?

Good morning! While you were sleeping, October happened. Time for baseball playoffs to happen, and hockey season to begin. Let us saute the month with tea, coffee, and etc.

Let us saute the month
I prefer my months baked, actually. :D

Last day of work, then I have a week off. Actually more than a week courtesy of the upcoming stat. Plan to do some writing. Got one story to finish and then a competition to write something for. And a call for submissions from a paid site that I am contemplating as well.

Pinktober is here. The time where the marketing turns pink as producers use the breast cancer cause to make more money.

Good morning, all! The weekend has arrived. Let us greet the day with hot beverages ad conversations. All is ready. Almost time to break out the pumpkin spice flavouring for everything.

And recall the fact of all things being linked without a thot or Qlu ... that's autonomous! Some people get this sense and thus we expect something is incomplete or abstract! Resembles the darkness of soul ... its black!

Can't see it?

I turned on my heat for the first time two days ago, when it was only 15 in the house. Have since turned it back off, as it's warmed up here considerably.

Lovely day here. Spent a good chunk of morning in a canoe, then hiked after lunch. Now resting, needless to say.

We've had three rather loud piston engine planes, possibly old warbirds or trainers, flying in formation over our area. Not sure what's up with that. No local media reporting anything on Twitter as of yet.

Went to a wonderful play at the Orillia Opera House this afternoon. Mno Bimaadiziwin, by a young Indigenous playwright, Ziigwen Mixemong. There was an informative Q&A afterwards, with the playwright, cast, director, and an Indigenous cultural relations rep.

Good morning! As we mark wondrous October weather, and rejoice in performances of special plays, ley us rays our mugs and cups in salute to the day. All things are ready.

Just back from a trip...yes, a trip, as in driving and visiting. I feel like I am learning to live dangerously! We celebrated a 70th birthday, and visited friends and family. Some are going through health issues, some are going through relationship issues, some are in new houses....So much has changed since our last trip to the Ottawa Valley. But, it was so wonderful to see these dear people again. Part of our trip included checking out kitchen cupboard ideas. Ikea seems like a possibility but we would have to make a special trip to Ottawa for that. At a restaurant, we thought we saw Chris Hadfield. If it wasn't him, then it was his twin! Lots of fun, and lots of stories after a week long trip.

Good morning, all! Happy Monday! As we remember weekend journeys and continue kitchen plans, as we discuss weather and such, let us gather round and partake of hot beverages. The coffee cartis up and running.

Learned yesterday of another relative's death ... and as time progresses as an element of reality ... everything seems to pass and we cannot catch up with much ... thus what's out there is accrued ... accumulating as beyond us!

I look up ... and there's nothing but extenuating obscurity ... tis dark there ... like that Nut in Egyptian Evenings as denoted by Norman Mailer ... too hard to crack ... yet there are these mysterious rifts ...

Are there stranger things than such conversions ... from our time to timeless and thus lost sentience? Thus it ghost ...

My son buys a lot of stuff there and it's a good twenty minutes or so each way from where he lives downtown depending on the traffic on 417. Which is one of the most miserable urban expressways I have driven.

About 9 or 10 hours for us and then....the miserable expressway. When will Ikea have a store in Sudbury?

Good morning. Yesterday I was able to participate in a needle felting workshop again. It was great to be in a well ventilated room with fully vaccinated and masked fellow crafters.

Good luck with that. They have backed off on putting one in London. Not sure they even still have the order pickup location here anymore.

Yesterday, while reading the posts on a FB Group page (for the area I grew up in) I saw a familiar name. I clicked on it to get more info and Lo and Behold is was indeed my cousin. Neither of us had contact information for the other since I left the area in 1967. He looks like a cross between his dad and my sister's son! So nice to know he is well.
