Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

A community where we discuss, share, and have some fun together. Join today and become a part of it!

What a difference from 811! Got a call back.
If not on the list of things then a discussion with a healthcare provider is needed (and the phonecall I had didn't count).
So yes, I can probably get my 3rd dose but I need to talk to someone. *Sigh* another thing to fit into already jam packed appointments, unless my hematologist's clinic ends up sending out letters quickly.
Letters were sent out before verifying we were at high risk of complications so met the phase 2B criteria, but that was slow to come out.

So, I'm in a strawberry eating fit at present, so today I picked up the Quebecois strawberries. I will report on the difference (if any) from the Ontario strawberries...

And I had to water stuff today. Strange summer. Too wet, not wet enough...
I find fall strawberries too expensive in NS. Got another baket of peaches from the farm and a bag of early apples. My friends neighbour gave away bags of beans. I will have abig tomatoe harvest, but I heard one can make salsa only with Roma tomatoes?

Good morning, all! Between strawberries and third doses and travels, lots of things to discuss. The voffee cart is ready to facilitate those chats. C'mon in, converse, relax, and caffeinate.

Is con verse an opposing verse meant to stimulate discourse? Then there is pro verse .. doing laps over and over due to difficult learning curves that identify grief ... you can almost smell what's coming! One of the fates ... some of us suppose we are not cut out for life ... as the preservationists stand for preferred status ... thus stasis ... and I'm all bled out ... white? Preferred medium ... par chi meant ... dried lamb ... for recording of myth and unknowns ... a mire carrier of news; good or bad ... one should know this tuff!

Difficult as it is ... some prefer comfort ... and don't ... how naivete spreads ... innocent ignorance. To be forgiven because they didn't know? Is that something beyond mortal's law? Time to dream up another story .. as intellectual truth does not penetrate the abstract realm very efficiently ...

An enigma of neurosis or psychosis ... one said to be a blackout state!

In pleasant news, my first cousin, once removed (my fav English cousin's son) got married last weekend. They'd been engaged for some time, have lived together in a jointly purchased house for a few years, with two lovely Tuxedo kitties. In English style, although she wore a lovely long white gown, it appears to have been fairly low-key and private. And cuz being the picture taker he is, there were some lovely photos.

The Edmonton mask bylaw doesn't include non-public workplaces, but it's confirmed, this group will be going to masking anyway. So they had a full month off without it.
Just another absurd COVID thing, they thought they were being on the cautious side, allowing everyone to hit their 14 days after 2nd dose to drop it and that only lasted a month. Appreciate though they aren't waiting for there to be legal requirements in order to keep things a little bit safer for everyone.

Good afternoon. We had a short drive today and are currently in beautiful Christina Lake, BC. We're only a couple hours from Kelowna where we'll go tomorrow and stay for a few days.

Good morning! Be of good cheer! The coffee is ready! The water for tea is hot! Let us rejoice, and salute the day with hot beverages!

Remember that nothing is permanent in life ... beyond that we understand less! Thus some folks keep moving ... the fixated don't like wandering souls ... a kind of odd drift!

The dangers and humour of speaking a second language! I have experienced my fair share so am not criticizing, just enjoying the humour of this one. I was on the phone speaking in English to a customer service person, whose first language was not English. When the necessary information was provided, I thanked him for his help and he told me: “You are mostly welcome, madame.”

How does the well come into the dialogue being that so many do not appreciate the ancient ... my damned thing ... the brain in a world that puts down intellect as a low range power compared to elevated emotions! Is the brain something recycled in essence as spirit of soul? Beta rated thinking ...

That was fun! Yesterday my dtr's bff (who is like the third kid of our family) got married in Whistler. There were only 8 at the wedding (6 in the wedding party plus bride's parents), and the rest of us - who are spread around the world (groom's family is all in OZ) - tuned in to watch the livestream of the service on a lakeside beach. Unfortunately the weather turned cold (13 degrees!) & rainy! So the ceremony was under a marquis which worked out just fine. Then after the service, a champagne toast & some short speeches, the sun came out for pictures with a rainbow in the sky! Perfect. I polished my silver, made a big floral piece for the table (including hydrangeas from my garden), and we had the bride's godmother join us for dinner before the wedding came online. Our son & his gf joined us for the 'watch party' - multiple devices so we could watch the wedding & video chat with each other too at the same time :-) It was lovely.

Beautiful bouquet. So pretty in silver.
It is awesome that the family from so many locations in the world could all be "present" at the wedding.

Good morning, all! For the ability to gather inspirit for far-away family events, for safe travels and sojournings, for the ability to speak second (or third or fourth) languages, and for the odd moment of hilarity that may arise, we give thanks. Let us gather around the coffee cart to converse, support, and, of course, drink coffee, tea, or other warming beverages.

Abstraction; defined by some as really diverse meaning ... if one can grasp the dirt of what was lost in the shock of eclectic events spreading widely ... storms stream in the desert? Maybe a NY thing ...

Then:
What is any faster to break a stable economy than an over whelming emotion ... trumping the entire (wholly) thing without a clue?
Can you relate a metaphor to such unspeakable sparks in a dark place? I mean in all a gory we seem to be floating in without a thought!
Thoughts being hard to come by as knowledge is denied by the organization of gods ... halls of glory?
Thus IT all come down to this ... temporality! And what a time was had by all ... and many mist ide ...
Then if they were told to not look, listen, etc. ... to be sheep ... is there a blackout version? Thus the gap ah and the great void intervened during that emotional stint! Prescience was lost as 4 sight unseen! Go puzzle that ... enigma? Thus shadowy rites without a support left ...

Is networking for those with a desire for pure autonomy? The outstanding man observing the other side ... from which side we are unsure ... establishing certain uncertainty as fore shore ... where the awkward cross ... Ox Ford ... sometimes labeled Harper's Ferry! In the lieu of that a sad story ...

Greetings from the slightly smoky Okanagan. It's a lovely day. I got bloodwork done at the local hospital and it went very smoothly. Much much better than the last time I got bloodwork done at IHA. Laundry is next on the agenda

I too had blood work to get done yesterday. I left home wearing a shirt and pants - arrived in a torrential deluge; I got soaked to the skin during a short walk from the parking area into the hospital. I was also to get an ECG appointment set up. Friendly guy at the lab said - if you have time we can do that right now. So - two items in one visit!

One more test left for this morning. The guy doing ultrasound was apparently a man of few words. He checked my ID and said Follow Me. That was followed by Lie on your Back, Turn on Your Left Side, Turn on Your Right Side etc..until he had the images he wanted. At that point he said Use This Towel to Wipe Off the Gel. Your Doctor Should Contact You - and he left the room. Oh well - good thing I wasn't interested in forming a meaningful relationship with him!
