Ahhh! RedBaron did you go through Sudbury or were farther north?

I am wondering why my avatar is all by itself. It used to have my nick name, Spirit Wind 7, etc. as many others do.

re... Election call:
Not once have I heard them say anything about 'serving' it's only about 'winning'. Serving commits to serving all,
where winning, the winners are given service. Such is human chosen duality.

An election now is surely off centre. I may be ready for an election, but I do not want one.

I've gone through Sudbury by way of Hwys 69 and 17, alas, always on my way to somewhere else.

I like this and would like to discuss, but I'll use it to launch a thread in Politics. Hope you're okay with that.

Good evening. Had a nice hike out at Fanshawe Conservation Area this afternoon. Now resting before bed.

As I mentioned to BA over in Last Post, I have a new story that might be ready to go in the next day or two. Someone launched a "challenge" on the site. Basically posted a sentence and invited everyone to write a story that starts with that sentence. No prizes or anything, just a fun writing prompt we are all taking a shot at. Most of the stories so far are micro or flash stories, so under 1000 words. Mine will be the first full-length short story, at about 1700 words.

Good morning, all! This Monday morn we find ourselves slipping into an election campaign, and all the 'joy and inspiration' that comes with such times. As we discuss such items around the coffee cart, remain respectful and respectable. r, we could continue to discuss weather and travels (esp. through Northern Ontario). Anyway, enjoy the beverages and the company.

Good morning. We stopped at the Voyageur Lodge to get apple fritters at the suggestion of @Carolla. Yum. They're still warm. Help yourself to the virtual versions.

Mmmmm, apple fritters. Now I want to head out to Western Fair Market. There used to be a bakery there, Dutch I think, with fritters to die for. Used to get them when Little M and I went there to get his coffee from Fire-Roasted.

Vacation is now officially under way. Working on my story, engaging in the BPoTW thread in R&F, and generally taking it easy.

Driving highway 17 in Ontario is lovely. I love seeing Lake Superior. It's a magnificent lake.

We got to see Winnie today

Thankfully we didn't see his cousins.

I got hollered at for blocking two pumps when we stopped for gas. a**holes are everywhere and this one was in Wawa, Ontario. Thankfully most people we've met have been friendly.

Good morning! As we follow the travel adventures through Northern Ontario and southern Manitoba, hear about apple fritters, and think about all the other things, big or small, that make a life, let us pause for tea, coffee, or etc, and gather round the cart for community building and support sharing. Allis ready.

Thank god for the mystery of backup ... the po' we do not see as they create fecun ditties! Little ditties that baffle ... fake on the surface of IT!

R Cis in the rear ... following as Jake ... well-braked? In Hebrew Jake is loosely interpreted as OK as it goes ... thus it was gone!

Did we miss something in the irrational rush? Frittering tree hangings ...

Good morning. We had a quiet night next to highway 17 near Nipigon. We are heading to the area @GordW knows well today. We'll spend two nights there before heading towards Manitoba. They are calling for warm weather today. Thankfully the truck has well functioning AC.

Vacation day. I picked about 16 lbs of blueberries in roughly 1.5 hrs. Now getting them into the freezer. Also picked up a basket of peaches. They had the round ones and the flat ones- I don’t care for the flat ones, the round ones seem to taste better.
