I can do the microwave, the range, even the car, quite easily. My analog kitchen clock requires a stool and a bit of dexterity to remount it after you've changed the time. What defeats me is the furnace thermostat. It is the same time all year around...

Thus Dan's fires burn on ... relative only to the T! Fits right in with S=Q/T ... a strange relationship about order ... it can confuse the best of those that believe they already have it in order!

Can a middle 'n fool discern the divisive state between those open to learning and those that need not?

Pick out the one's in the rush ... on a need to know basis ... they pick commodities markets ... and bills fly ...

Tariffs are prerequisite ... and few are secure in a land based on it is evil to know ... such concepts may cause angst without a sense of being sure there's nothing to it! So tow it we do as twits all round!

No questions ...

What defeats me is the furnace thermostat.
Mine is a slog to change, but not difficult. It's keeping track of how to change all the little alarm clocks and clock radios scattered around the upstairs bedrooms that sometimes defeats me. Not that I don't know, I just forget. My current cars are actually fairly easy. The CRV updates automatically, just like any computerized device, and the Civic is done through menu options on the screen (and its Little M's problem anyway).

Anyhow, Happy Pi Day!! It's the one day of the year when going around in circles is encouraged. :giggle:

Kettle is on. Anyone else for tea? I have some nice Scottish Breakfast.

Is ρi a rational expression or just something floating freely with the animus ay sea? Bean that some believe logos is stupid ... resting there with all the wisdom laid out sophistically ... so few grasp the covariance ... divination? There it peels off one way or the other ... rye hummer?

May gather critical operations ... could be ath ought ... latent Rhodes ... the pathe behind? Oh my ...

Good morning, all! Welcome to Monday. Beware the ides, and all that. As we have conquered the changing of clocks (many of us, anyway), and get ready for dark mornings (again) and lighter evenings (allegedly), let us celebrate the moment with hot beverages. Water ishot and coffeeis brewed.

Thus Daye (Dei-ity) and knight pass in the shadows ... doing darker things to raise sparks! One is supposed to write in the lighter zone ... to escape the quantum sides ... there it sure is dark! Reason demands thoughts go for a walkabout ... autonomously! Said to be a dark process as a dream ... counter to those that say nothing is a non event! From this point on cognizance that something happened unconsciously ...

Thus the term sore Bas ... lo' a sore foot in the morning? That slippery dance in the dark with the fisherman ... Greek Zorba? Bated breaths ...

Nova Scotia has a cold snap, -10 feels like -18, going down to -22. Where is spring? When I was paying for gas, the lady behind me had her arms full of ice cream. Not sure how she made it back to the car without her arms falling off.

Good morning! The coffee cart is ready, with hot water for tea, etc., and fresh brewed coffee. As we continue our watchful vigil for the arrival of spring, let us warm up with hot beverages.

Yes - it was cold here overnight too & we also got a bit of snow! It IS March after all - that manic weather month. Nevertheless the birds are singing joyfully & collecting bits & pieces to build nests. Yesterday we saw a Common Redpoll at our feeder - that was a new bird for us.
I took my car to my mechanic today - the dashboard brake light came on last week & a quick check revealed I had low brake fluid level. Got that topped up on Friday (or was it Thursday? who knows these days). Took it in today for a thorough inspection - it's 8 years old, but low mileage & I hope to keep it for a long while yet. They will be replacing the brake lines - expensive but necessary.
I finished knitting a cute little sweater for an Easter gift for a one year old :) I think I have enough yarn left to make a little earband/headband to go with it.
Almost finished a jigsaw puzzle that we had made from a photo my mate took taken in Twillingate NL - it's been a tough one to do - but beautiful, and full of good memories. And I have to sort out some stuff with Bell - that will not be nearly so pleasant I fear!

Greetings whatever time of day it is where you are. The brat tried to spend the night with us. She grudgingly got off our bed and settled in to her own last night. She joined us at her usual more civilized hour this morning for cuddles.

I am going to meet a couple women from a FB support group for a safe outdoor visit today. I know one of the women because we met at the cancer lodge in Victoria when we were there for radiation. I'm meeting the other in person for the first time though we've chatted through Messenger a few times. We will be meeting at a park that has an off-leash area so Baela can join us. It's a sunny nice day here, perfect for a visit outdoors.

Good morning, all, as the dark recedes before the coming light, the water is boiling and the coffee is brewed. All things are ready, help yourself to the hot beverage of your choice.

Thus we are back into hot water ... debate will Eris ... as it is bound to come up to the end of the thread ... leashed or lashed?

Good morning all. Our pond is still frozen but the snow is mostly gone. Now that strange time of brown grass and mud as the ground thaws. But daffodils are poking up and the garlic is up too. So I do know spring is on it’s way

Happy St. Patrick's Day. My grandfather's father came from Ireland, to Toronto. So, I can legitimately celebrate. My kids, who are 50 percent Polish, get reminded about their Irish heritage on this day.

Irish is about the only nationality in the British Isles that I can't claim. Paternal line is Welsh, rest is mostly English with a bit of Scots. Apparently there are Irish ties on the Welsh line but they are pretty far back (per my brother's work on Ancestry.com).

Still, I'm happy to hoist a Jameson's (among Irish booze, I prefer whisky to beer) in honour of the Irish among us.
