I wanted to buy some hay for them. Hubby was no way, we have enough deer. I know they are fine in the winter but I worry about them. And the birds

And the rabbits, but that does not seem to deter the lady next door from putting stuff put for them. I guess it gives them something to chew on besides my bushes but it also keeps them habituated so that they tend to hang around our are.
 
Last year was a spectacular year for rabbits, I believe. Lucy certainly saw more of them than previous years.
 
Did the Christmas get together with the nephews finally. Managed to sneak it in before Feb at least! Majority of the time was at a park but being young children there was back and forth- we were sent there with no snacks! Didn't see much of my sister she was barefoot the entire time and there was some eyerolling about me following the law and staying outside. Boys opened gifts on her front step..I thought she would come to the park for a bit but I think with the past while being cold she was enjoying being in the house without the kids. Temperature was cooler than ideal but tolerable for being outside for hours minus some cold fingers when texts had to be sent - informing of snacks and bathroom breaks. I am wiped it feels well past midnight!

So, I had good news today. Had an ultrasound on the suspicious lump on my collarbone last Thurs. Nurse-practitioner called me just before I Ieft for work. All clear, they think a fat deposit.

Had a revelation at work today. I'm cleaning "belts", 3 of them, many times an hour (not between every customer, but whenever I've got a second to do one or 3 of them), like when someone's packing groceries themselves. Keep making a joke that I'm gonna be an arm-wrestling champ, but because of the wyrd twist I need to do, probably exercising a neck muscle, causing it to look larger than on the other side.

*sigh* Getting older = constant worry about lumps and bumps.

Flad you were able to get confirmation fairly quickly it's nothing serious.

Lets us chuck in with that underground chicanery! One must study the mystery! Expect resistance from those declaring they know everything ... they even have an idealistic label for such mortal knowledge!
