Do primates drink caffeine? Well, if so, you're in luck. Coffee and tea are available, as coffee cart is up and running.

By the way, my sources tell me it's National Blueberry Popscicle Day, in case you were wondering.

Ah the relaxation of mourning the passing of dark ... dark things scaring the crap out of the guilty ...

Then the song:
Sometimes in the morning, when shadows are deep ...
I lie here beside you just watching you sleep (ode to the una-WOKE) ...

....I wonder when lemonade popsicle day is? That's my favourite.
Coffee is welcome. Anyone care for a warm cheese scone? I promise they will magically stay fresh and warm all day!

I"m cooking up a batch of freezer salsa today - tomatoes & jalapenos from my garden, garlic, green peppers & onion from the local farm stand ... gonna be yummy! I'll drop off a bowl later with some tortilla chips for a Thursday night treat!

Ah. Friday of a three day weekend. Unofficial last weekend of summertime. Time to celebrate with warm beverages, on beach, in cottage, on campground, wherever.

Well, today, my son made mac and cheese for lunch.

When I make mac and cheese, I cook 2 or 3 cups of elbow macaroni, grind up some old cheddar, layer them in a casserole, pour milk over, and bake.

When Little M makes mac and cheese, he cooks 2 or 3 cups of elbow macaroni, makes a sauce with flour, butter, and milk, adds the shredded cheese to the sauce (he used cheddar today but apparently uses a three cheese blend at home), mixes it with the cooked macaroni, puts breads crumbs on top and bakes.

He may be studying computer engineering but he seems to minoring in culinary arts. He has also cooked his homemade quesadillas (which I think I have raved about before) and butter chicken for us while home. Alas, he leaves soon.

For the record, when I was 21, barbecuing hot dogs was the height of my culinary skills. One of the benefits of him moving halfway across the province, I guess.

Impressive!

Chemguy is the max & cheese maker here, and it's from a box. Last time I would have done it, it was for my nephews and that was a while ago. The youngest was still a handful then, I had issues finding things in my sisters kitchen and decided to just eyeball the milk, which didn't go so great with a large jug and distractions by the youngest. Got a bit too much. Oldest said "Auntie you're a good cook" so at least there were no complaints!

I'd like to try more baked pasta recipes, but I'll leave the mac and cheese.

Macaroni and Cheese can have numerous substitutions to add to the noodling ...

Some folks close to me say this may lead to Dood Linques ... a period of departure from reality supporting the theory (conspired) of virtuous myths!

After thus crewed up ... have a story prepared of how you fell intuit as Moses and that crevice on the mountain ... Iceman stories? Frosty ... or just frigid brains .. seized of See Tzars? Always floss and flaws along the way ... the search goes on ... for reason ... something unknown and uncertain ... fore shore ... ferryman requirements? Something more to get over as troubled phools ...

Due to emotions alone ... masqued M'N ... anonymity?
