David's used to have a pumpkin spice chai and at least one other. Haven't checked in a while. If it was not for Buddha's Blend, which my local place does not have a counterpart for, I might be done with David's entirely.
I got an email from David's saying they were restructuring and closing storefronts. They are going to focus on online marketing. I haven't tried Buddha's Blend yet, but have discovered some new ones I like. The Jasmine is nice.

I like Chai. I like orange spice. I just don't see pumpkin spice. I prefer black teas anyway. A good Irish Breakfast hits the spot.

I haven't been in David's in some time. There are two locally owned small tea shops here that I prefer

So Buddha's Blend mixes that Jasmine Green with white tea and hibiscus. It's a lovely blend. It is available from Amazon (David's has a number of blends and gift sets on there).

My local has good Irish and Scottish Breakfast blends. They have one called Canadian Breakfast, too, but I don't like it as much. I have kind of soured on chais. Really, I prefer either a straight black blend, like a breakfast tea, or a fruity flavour, like an Earl Grey (bergamot fruit) or Lemon. Spiced or sweetened teas just don't do it for me.

My most recent discovery, via my local, is wakoucha. It means "Japanese red tea". "Red tea" is what East Asian folks like my wife call black tea and I had never had a Japanese black before, only sencha, which is Japanese green tea. Very smooth, mild flavoured black. Usually use it as a midday tea rather than a breakfast tea.

Buddha's blend sounds lovely. I'll have to check that out. I have a monks blend that is black with soft flavours.

"One of our most flavorful teas. The dramatic combination of vanilla and grenadine ensures a particularly satisfying creamy cup.

INGREDIENTS
Black Tea, sunflower petals, and natural flavor."

Sounds interesting. Will check my store for those ingredients. She has an incredible selection. Better than David's has ever had instore.

Davids has closed all of their NS stores and others, but there is a list of which ones are still open, not many. Online is still an option to order. My favourite at Davids is sleighride and tulsy tranquility

I like pumpkin spice tea. I have a roobois one plus I had a flavoured agave syrup from David's which was was nice with a plain black tea, plain roobois and some of the blends I have, long gone now, I bought a flavoured general syrup but it's a little too heavy on the cloves. I had a pumpkin pie one or something like that too at one point, I think black may have been roobois. Cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, etc. goes well in the right teas I think. I don't tend to drink those in the summer though, it's definitely a cold weather drink for me.

Good morning, world! The sun has arisen (sort of), and the coffee vart is ready. Let us rejoice.

You might get one there, but I don't recommend it. That stuff's been known to pickle brains....

Smells funny in here. Did someone vart? :cautious:

Yes, it's that kind of day. Tea might help, though.

Surviving being a family again, though with he and I both working it's not like we're interacting much.

Good morning! Armed with spray air fresheners the room is fit again. You're welcome. In the meantime there is coffee and tea ready.

Gotta skip those pickled eggs guys
Windows open.....much better.
Thanks Redbaron. I'll help myself to purple cup of coffee with tons of cream.

Haha - picked eggs! My mate enjoys them - and he's started making them. When we finish a big jar of dill pickles (not the ones in brine tho - that failed), he simply boils some eggs, peels them & pops them into the remaining vinegar solution from the pickles. I tried one recently - it was pretty tasty. I was surprised how firm it was. No varts tho ... thankfully!!

Never eaten pickled eggs. Not a fan of most eggs in general. Omelettes or similar fried eggs being the exception.

Good morning, all! Let the sunshine in! The coffee cart is ready. Enjoy.
Bonus points if you can actually find some sunshine to let in... kinda dark and dreary and rainy here...

Thanks Redbaron. Dark and rainy here too, but we desperately needed sustained rain so we're getting it. I had been so dry.
