We have lots of TP in No Frills, kleenex as well. What we never/rarely get/run out of in 2 seconds are: disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol.

Meat is a wyrd one; I see brands/packaging I've never seen before, and Lucy hasn't had had liver for about 3 weeks now. Most veggies pretty normal, frozen stuff still a little erratic.

OI'd defined by observation?

forming adjectives and nouns denoting an animal belonging to a higher taxon with a name ending in -oidea.

Grey marah called device ... US'd in a squeeze of Jews! Drew Ide surroundings? There are those that deny witz ...

Yeah, that's where we've been getting it here. I think our Walmart has been getting stock of some brands, too.

Sometimes I wonder if I know my partner at all - even after more than fifty years of togetherness. We decided (I thought) early in the pandemic to basically stay home. Maybe quick trips for groceries or a walk in the country but really basically staying away from other people. This morning hubby told me he was going to catch a ride into Saskatoon to go Costco because they had notified him that he had some sort of refund to collect. So - hours in the car close to someone who may have been close to someone else with the early stages of infection. Time in a store that is notorious for crowding. No doubt they would stop somewhere to eat too. The day would end with another bunch of hours together in the car. When I said that it didn't sound very safe to me he reacted as if I was trying to interfere with his fun! I said I didn't think it would be much fun to have Covid 19. WW3 ended with his surrender!

Was I being mean?

I think many of us are starting to go a little stir crazy and we are taking chances that we wouldn't have taken a month ago. We had my son and his girlfriend over for supper last night. My sister had the other sister over and even gave her a hug. Friends have started to visit friends. I'm not saying that this is right...but I have noticed that people are relaxing their vigil a little.

I had the day off, because I worked last Saturday. Drove into Halifax to Costco with a shopping list for four households. Here is the good news: Costco has toilet paper! ( we didn’t need any).
That was kind of you to do a Costco run for friends/neighbours. Our neighbour picked up a few things for us last week - well, only one thing on our list of 3 was in stock, but hey it was the really good parm cheese so we were happy about that!

Was I being mean?
Mean? Not in my view - had a similar discussion with my mate this morning too - over a much briefer unnecessary shopping foray. He changed his mind. I know it's been hard on him - he's used to being a daily shopper - figure out what to cook, then go out to shop. He also likes to 'cruise' the local Winners stores for things we don't need and could certainly live without LOL. He was doing great until about the last 10 days - hadn't been grocery shopping at all. But now has been making more frequent trips - not cool. So I think we're back on track again.

Sounds like I need to cut Chemguy more slack on some of his 'projects' like getting the potatoes in so early. He's been great about avoiding some of the riskier things he could have been doing, and he's doing that for my sake. I'll just make sure to keep him busy with the garden, with how I feel I can very easily give him more to do than usual once things start coming up.

Good morning, all! Tea and coffee are available. Let us greet the day with warming beverages.

Popping back for another coffee. c(_)

I have been doing a little light reading, lol. The Cain and Abel story.

We have bible study by Zoom later this morning.

I had a phone appt with my doctor today. I have a UTI. We think. Probably from sitting down too much and holding it too long. I've had a few close calls and minor accidents that might've been enough to be noticed by others if I hadn't been sitting down with a jacket that covers my bum...anyway, tmi. But it happens. Women are more susceptible to that. Also...There are fewer places I can "run in" to pee these days. It can also be peri menopause/ muscle control...but it's more painful so it's probably a UTI, I've had before...and if the medicine doesn't resolve it, I'll go for tests. I don't really want to go into a medical facility if I can help it.

Funny thing, I went to the supermarket pharmacy this time (usually a different pharmacy) to pick it up (wore my mask inside) so I could pick up a few groceries at the same time - and who did I pass in the parking lot? My doctor. He's a very young minded doc. He greeted me with "Hey Kimmio!" He's only a few years older than me. We grew up in the same neighbourhood and he knows some of my high school friends. Because of that sometimes I've felt feel weird talking to him about serious things, especially disability related...but he's a good person, and that's my issue. When I was worried about the MAID laws I told him "Don't ever let me choose that if I'm down about concurrent issues." (Depression being one of them.) He said he'd be my harbour seal. Referring to a seal who rescued a bridge jumper.

I'm supposed to lay off coffee (according to the Internet, and my memory of having had a UTI years ago, but he didn't mention it). So, I'm making my way home with a Tim's in my cup holder (that's pretty much the reason I attached one to my scooter. Lol.) there's a Tim's in the same store. I'm a coffee addict. If it's open I always get a coffee while I'm there. Or Starbucks in the area, but that's been closed for awhile (I miss it).

Glad to see the coffee cart has arrived. c(_)

Yesterday's Cain and Abel bible study was frustrating. My Zoom connection was giving me grief and I didn't really like the study materials for the text. First time this has happened. We are using the Still Speaking series.

We're watching "Planet of the Humans" which is produced by Michael Moore. He chose to release it today on the 50th anniversary of the first Earth Day. It's quite eye opening

I am sure glad that I am no longer teaching...not because I didn't love my job...It was the spelling and pronunciation of student names that was getting trickier and trickier. Elon Musk's baby is a case in point!

Elon Musk's baby is a case in point!

I was seriously hoping that was him goofing around but Grimes, the Canadian singer who is the mother, posted an explanation of sorts so I guess it's not unless they are both in on the joke.

Hoping they can call the child something like 'Bob' for short.
Meanwhile, coffee and tea, by any other name, are still noce warm bevvies. The cart is up and running.
