Nice that you are all able to travel together. If it's any consolation, I have heard ID specialists here say that you are really very unlikely to get coronavirus just travelling through an airport or other public places - they seem to think more sustained contact is necessary for transmission. At least that was the last I heard. Lots of hand sani is always a good idea, along with increased mindfulness about not touching one's face.

Just finished watching a SciShow (YouTube science channel) on the virus. The host made the point that the precautions we should already be taking for flu also apply to SARS and this new coronavirus: wash hands, stay home if sick, cover when coughing, and such. He also made the point that flu remains the biggest worry in North America. So far this season, per recent CDC stats that he quoted, flu has landed about 140000 Americans in the hospital and killed about 8000. I imagine Canadian numbers would be similar proportionately.

My neighbour is out of the hospital, had successfully a stent put in. I visited them yesterday. I know he had a bit of a delirium after a long night spend between two hospitals and he is hard of hearing, too.
But, both were telling me weird things yesterday. He said that he was hearing this ongoing church organ music in his room and she was telling me that she hears music every time she turns on the fan in her living room. Now, she is hard of hearing, too. But, this was really odd, because both of them usually are cognitively intact and they were very serious about it. I am wondering if this has to do with their hearing and their brain trying to make sense of sound.

Brae 'n buzz ... some science organizations discovered on the edge of space a 4 degree hum ... through a radiological horn ...

That does sound odd. I have had patients who experience musical hallucinations but that is relatively rare. Maybe time for hearing aid check.

There are stranger, mysterious things under the Midnight child ... like dreams and halo Sin a Shins ... knees together now ... bounce!

Shake it out babe ... fall a Sea 've logos ... dance intuit? Make sounds? What kind was asked ...

I once got a coffee mug for Christmas, that when you picked it up, it started chiming Christmas songs. I don't have any idea where it ended up... Likely it isn't in the coffee cart...

A chimer or chimera?

If nothing else fascinates with unknown character development ... turn to the word ... based on letters my friend ... make up poesy as you go ... sing loud when departing ... and put sweet lips on the phone ... pay OHM's ... resist avarice as a corrupt power of poles!

Talking about coffee mugs. Our secretary changed work sites and left me her mug, which stated the one question I used to ask her every day from Tuesday on: “ Is it Friday yet?”

Oh, my cat sitter can’t live in, now I have only the option to have the neighbours feed her or put her in the Cat Hotel for $400. Outch. I don’t want her to be alone for two weeks. The cat hotel has good reviews and they play with them there, but I still think it would be traumatizing either way.

Are there any neighbourhood kids you could ask to come by and visit and play with the cat so it's not all on one person - the neighbour can feed it, someone else can hang out with it - to fill in for your absence?
