Good morning my coffee is delicious and my feet are up. I'm feeling pretty good. I'm thinking about how I will be going to the clinic this morning to get drugs put in me that will make me feel like crap.


Hopefully short term pain for long term gain....

Sorry to hear of the suicide seeler. It happens way too often, 1 would even be too many. May we all reach out to those we love and let them know we appreciate having them around and that difficulties are not insurmountable.
I had hoped to be on my way to the Kootenays today-but a later start as the brakes on my van are making noise. Getting them checked this am. Wedding is tomorrow so I do have some flexibility.

All done the treatment. It went well and now we'll see how I react. They gave me a calendar to sort out when to take the drugs for the side effects for the next few days.

I've been sleepy most of the afternoon and my stomach has been grumbly. I took a "rescue" nausea med and had some ginger. That helped. I feel uncomfortable, not horrible. I'm heating chicken noodle soup now.

Rather quiet long weekend ahead. Assemble a new dining set for the kitchen, cleaning, and that's about it. Hopefully get out for a ride or two.

Rainy weekend forecasted, heavy showers at times. Still getting pieces for my fence together and keep planning the details. Bought the wrong length of screws and had to exchange them. Still waiting for a deal on concrete. Worried about how to get those holes in the ground.
Junior had his Red Seal test on Friday and said most of the questions were easy, compared to the ones they did on the pre tests. But no celebration yet, it can take up to three weeks to get the results. Bought him a gift card for his favourite store- Princess Auto- as a “ graduation” gift.
House cleaning, because worship will be at my house tomorrow. Hanging out with the cat and working away on my sewing project while watching Netflix.
Monday is supposed to be the only sunny day and I am planning to visit the new Art Labyrinth about 2 hrs away with a friend.
home - be aMAZEd A crazy German artist supposedly created it with the help of some other local ones. Looks like a good place to take unusual photos.

I have my mother's sewing machine. I want to get sewing again. I'll likely start with replacing curtains in the bedroom. I may go to a couple classes at the local store to get moving on other projects.

I think I'll have a cup of coffee and a croissant. That will hold me over until the park pancake breakfast this morning at ten. So far I feel pretty decent, though it is early...... We are planning to head to the farmer's market today. Dog needs another good bone.
