Nice, Pinga. I have become attached to various boyfriends/girlfriends brought home by my kids over the years...and I generally like them all, and feel a little sad when it doesn't work out for them. But when it does work out...Wonderful! Two weeks from today, I celebrate one of the working-out ones.
 
Went to my birthday gift concert of the Philharmonik Orchestra last night. It was at an outdoors theater surrounded by forrest. You could hear the birds sing along after each piece. Got there for 5 to get a good seat, had cool but good weather until 7, then drizzle until intermission ( concert started @ 8.15) and pouring rain until the end at 11 pm. Got completely soaked, but the music was beautiful, so much talent. Today, a trip was planned with my mother and her power wheelchair in the truck, but it is still raining.
Nature needed it. Berlin has very sandy soil and it had been hot since beginning of May. I have been working in my sisters yard yesterday, adding compost to her flower beds. My muscles say, they don’t need to go for a longer walk.
Have to pack today, returning to Canada tomorrow.
 
Today should be a fun one for Yobo and I. We're going to the baptism of her best friend's second daughter. That'll be followed by lunch at a Russian buffet.
 
@Mrs.Anteater - sorry to hear about the rain at your concert!

We are having much the same weather here today too - good steady long rain, which our earth sorely thirsts for. So I am grateful for that. Not so good for the local garden tour; Toronto Pride Parade; and the Ride Don't Hide mental health ride a friend is doing today. Good for me - a day to stay inside & tidy up & get busy writing thank-you notes to the many who contributed to my retirement celebrations :-)

Seeler and seelerman returned home today. Seelerman is a cat whisperer and Lexa enjoyed their company very much. Tried to do a pic together , but Lexa did not want to, so I am adding one of her alone.
( Seeler can add the other if she wants to publish a pic of herself and seelerman)
 
I am sitting at my breakfast table and the cat is making a statement that she is missing seelerman playing the “ catch the dot” game with her, using the sun on his watch. Sorry , cat, have to go to work.:(

I remember playing that with my family's kitty using various reflective objects.

Odd things ... kind 'a funny? The status quo believes not ... just can't be ... what would the lesser folks find humorous?
