Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

A community where we discuss, share, and have some fun together. Join today and become a part of it!

Naramata is also struggling though it did offer limited activities this past summer. I do think the 3 centres should talk and share-perhaps there is a grant that would let them get together.

Goes largely to pet food, I suspect. My local grocery store makes sure there's always some meat for more varied tastes; there's always chicken "hearts and gizzards" for the local Jamaicans, and a small section marked "halal".

My mother, a very poor cook, used to try to cook offal occasionally, to uniformly disastrous results. The beef heart was particularly vile; I believe she tried tripe once.

In the east we call tripe, baloney, or haute doggin as raising the acceptance ... especially in Ba'aL Gama ... like ocean going insects ... things we don't know that tickle the cognizance of those stumbling over such data ... in Germany this is Weiner, or in Italia saus age ... something to fill the abstract ...

Hi Luce, I thought tripe is the stomach ( of beef?) - which I have not seen eaten in Canada by anyone, and in Germany, it is sold as dog food ( and not in Wieners, as you say). My mom used to cut it up for the dog, and it stank terribly. One time, we visited Italy back in the 70ties and my mother noticed that they had food trucks selling tripe to people. She was horrified.

Anti/ante g astronomical? You've heard of castings ... the part holding sausage together ... god only knows what the processor be putin there ... regardless of the foo'drules with power ID'll pass ...

Consider cholesterol as a complex alcohol that is soluble in ethereal alcohols ... where the methyl form is deadly ... yet present medical wisdom pumps us full of steroids and statins that are none-the-less like doctrine of love(god) alone terminal without thought!

Jah hoo dah thunk it ...? It's all subtle in the greater stacks and bile's of word ... that cast Shadow over people disinterested in the understanding thereof as subtle ... do Shadows flow as plastic sol? Can you derive "p" and "b" from the Latin thorn (þ) or would that be a bur or birrd in the Scottish Golden As Is ... and thus it goes ... gross myths? Greater than one can imagine as gods of the underwriters ... ghost riders?

Oh, there are people in Canada eating tripe but they aren't usually Anglo-Canadians. Our dim sum of choice has it (steamed and spicy) and I actually like it done that way. And, yes, it's usually cow stomach.

Thank you pinga for all the hard work you're doing on this project ... and for your hopeful outlook. I too hope the members & church will be able to see a positive future in this (and other!) regard.

What strange things we talk about here - cows' stomachs!

As for the Training Centers, I would love to hear that all three find solutions to their problems. If there ever was a time for Christians to get together for discussions on what it means to follow the Way of Jesus it is now. If nothing else we need to counter-balance some of what is passed as Christianity and supports the very unChristlike policies of the US.
I remember weekends Five Oaks as a young adult living in Montreal, and a few visits since - most recently at a Wondergathering with WC1. I also visited the BC center with Tabitha and heard our former moderator speak.
Strangely I've never been to Tatamagouche center here in the Maritimes - I know someone who thinks so highly or it and the programs it offers that he has named it a beneficiary of his Will.

And rennet the stuff of cheese production is of a pigs stomach ... very ante Juiced to those that can't stomach powerfully Jews 'd and rejected as catalysts to change of form. Then there are the bugs that produce yog art ... and we buggies that distress men of emotional distress taken out on little women ...

Now is it good to feed, shelter and cultivate these wee things that can mature into broad-based psyches that can go a good man in ... a gross X-Pan Zion ... one fat lady in the bazaar!

This afternoon I had porkchops thawing on the kitchen counter. Seelerman walked by and remarked 'Dead pig for supper.'
(he likes dead pig with potato scallop.)

Politic of that opposing pork belly stuff (phat test-la)?

Refers to expanded head as icon or IHC-y for many as referring to head stuff in a world devoted to harts ... there are differences as-alien-t ...

At least he has no delusions about what he's eating, eh;)? We had bits of dead pig and dead bird on our caesar salads for dinner (bacon and chicken). :D

Thinking about Pinga working so hard on a UC retreat rescue got me wondering..............what happened when the Prairie one closed down? Was there money left after the sale of the building? Where did it go? What was done with all the 'stuff' - furniture, bedding, electronics, books and resources? If anything is saved of the UCCAN I think it should be these Centres. So much more useful than buildings across the country that run a weekly service for some elderly members, who wear themselves out raising money to pay the bills.

Tatamagouches program is so limited, that I can't find anything interesting anymore. There are only 6 events between now and June. I can't imagine they can survive with this.

I have tried to be respectful (well, within limits) of the US's right to choose a leader, stating that their decisions impacted us throgh decisions.

But, I forgot how hate breeds hate, and not that my voice would have mattered either way to any of the people who voted for Trump, I was reminded how much words mattered.

A person, identified as an online troll, but, probably not a troll, as he truly believed, who supported Trump, killed & maimed people.
How do we know if someone is a risk to others that we encounter. With hindsight, others see this young man who was islamaphobic & mysoginst online. Wondercae had a person who took the virtual into physical...he scared people. Police were engaged. Wondercafe had someone who was manipulative, they took the virtual into phsyical and were brought to professionals attention.

I am tired of Trump's actions and it day 9. and I don't live in the US.

My daughter and grandson are moving to the U.S. in a few months....just waiting the final paperwork. It scares me. Also, she is taking on her boyfriend's views (He works for Homeland Security and loves Trump), believing that the media and liberals are making things up about Trump. That scares me too. When I read an article about Trump and up pops a message suggesting that mainstream media is all wrong and if I want the truth...just click on the box. That also scares me. I agree with what you say about words, Pinga. And, if we run the risk of being tired by all this nonsense, I think we need to keep very awake, and become active. I wish I had joined a march. I may yet have an opportunity.
