Welcome to Wondercafe2!

I am glad, Crazyheart, that you are feeling better.
I seem to have caught a cold while out this week. I decided to stay home and do another puzzle, similair to the one here.

Tonight will be a quiet night.

Please remind me that viruses cannot spread through the compputer. I feel sorry for those stuffed up, smiffing, sweating and/chills, aches and pains - please get well soon - but don't send it my way.

Get well wondercafe friends!

At the end of Jan. I am going to a paint nite at a local pub. Invite came over facebook-2 friends were going. A third saw my interested and we are going together. We will paint an owl's head.
I can paint with direction and coaching.
Parents sent me a cheque for Christmas-this is what I bought with it. Feeling happy!

Happy new years. Walking back from escorting my hockey billet to a party. I twas a moment, with lightly falling snow to remember many pleasant New Years: parties, dances, ski races, walks in the river valley, eating ginger bread houses. Lots of happy memories and I am quite content with a quiet evening home with the cat this year!

Happy new year's! I've got a big pot of baked beans simmering in the oven, a tourtiere under construction, a turkey soup from a late week "second Xmas" dinner simmering; smells great in my house, so I'll waft it over to the Room.

I was asleep by 10:30 last night, murmuring a happy new year's to the old guy who actually stayed up to see it in. I am a robin, up with the light, he is the owl.

Lots of hot green tea with lemon and honey in it for you, crazyheart, and all else who have come down with one of the seasonal malaise. I am still fighting mine off, so maybe it works!

Haappy New Year one and all. And while you are hanging up your UCC calendars please take a look at the church on the coer (and on July). That's one of the churches I mention when I'm going 'down river' to lead worship. It's one of the oldest protestant churches still in use in Canada and has many unique features. It stands proudly by the side of the highway, with the broad expanse of the St. John River on the other side, and the low lands of the lakes connected with Grand Lake behind it. I hope it serves the surrounding rural community for years to come.

Thus rural belief systems in plough sharing ... following that old mule ... and old rivers ... Midnight? At 4 in the morning ... aD ream? Perhaps aligned in roués ... to prick the mind ... an imaginary zoon!

Abstract Z' owning laws?

This is to perk you up. daughter and SIL 30th anniversary. Had a

party New Years Eve, They had a wonderful time with family. They don't need an excuse to dress up.

They would kill me is they knew I posted this. Couldn't help it. Makes me feel good.

And so the party begins!!

Great picture, but, I am confused.
Were your daughter & your sister-in-law married on the same day 30 years ago? I wouldn't think that your daughter was old enough to have been married 30 years.

I think it is daughter & son-in-law (although I don't know who's who in the picture. I think Crazyheart is near my age - allow 20 or so years for first baby, who gets married at 20 or so -0 yep, she could be celebrating her 30th. Nice pic - were they hippies??

post 7629 (my post today about the church calendar) the word 'coer' on the first line should be 'cover'.
I tend to type too many letters - this time I skipped one. Sorry.
I don't always proof read and go back and correct. I hope most people can make sense of what I post.
