Seeler, although no one was physically hurt, it sure was a trauma for your daughter.
I don't understand people who yell like that; hwoever, I guess there lives must be challenging if that is how they responded.
I am glad Seelergirl had family like you to support her, and that the police offer saw through it.
Thank you Pinga. Accidents happen - it is how we respond to them that matters. Fortunately our Granddaughter didn't respond in kind when she was being shouted and swore at - and Seelergirl was able to keep her calm. I'm not sure I would have been so reasonable if I had arrived when the other driver was verbally attacking my granddaughter.
I'm glad Granddaughter is driving again and getting over the trauma.
Perhaps having survived a minor accident intact will make her a better driver - more alert and watchful of everything around her - aware and ready to take evasive action, even when it isn't her fault. I know that happened to me when I was still a beginner someone came through a red light and hit my car totaling. I certainly keep my eyes on other vehicles since then.
Thanks everybody for listening to my story and letting me share the drama of my life.
