So at school along with the gospel story you'll also be teaching "different traditions"? What are the "different traditions" Nancy?

Comparative BS as Taurus, who lived in a volcanic caldron? He had power to spew like the Religious Bull of the earth as papal ... a general all about boob?

So to start my spring break I attended a "Paint your Spirit animal" workshop. Wine was included (but alas until this diabetes is under control I passed and had sparkling water).
It was acrylic. I only paint when I have an instructor helping, but hey 5 years ago I never painted at all.
I did a pair of raven in the moonlight. I had a little coaching , but not much . I'm very pleased with the painting.

Of an acrylic whine? Like cellulose material crying to be smudged upon ... creating dark stories ... aboriginal things!

Things to be respected as containing essential myths ... real people think these should be put on ignore and denied ... have concern for all the detailings ... what would support us if it weren't for aD'm-ism ... those cursed myths as transmuted into loss ... laws of no love lost as it was all locked up as an infinite evil!

Why we have that pyre of god inside! Pyrites of foolishness? Even the gods like to be amused ... inversion of stretch ... is there a word for that as it is imp rest?

I'm curious Tabitha - how did people select or know their "spirit animal"?

well our instructor talked about it. She said we could close our eyes and think about it, flip through photos and see what spoke to us, recall an animal that appeared frequently in our lives, ask the question as we fall asleep. You can actually have up to 9 spirit or totem guides-depending on what you need in your life.
Most of us came in knowing what animal we wanted to paint. We also looked at the meaning of each that we choose.

No one can tell you your spirit animal, you must claim it yourself.

I choose Raven. It is a biblical bird-feeding prophets in the desert, being first off the Ark. Heard a sermon about why we-the United church-are called to be raven people. Very prevalent in Inuvik where i lived. Prevalent in west coast -Haida culture There's book about fallen climbers turning into Raven (I think it is by one of the Gadd brothers-maybe Ben?) It's a sign of beginnings or changes, a sign of strength, it is not always what it seems

and it fit my painting skill.

At the end of class everyone shared why the choose their animal and it's significance to them

Suppose Hitchcock was a prophet ... he associated with those birds ... a bit of a Shadowy attribute you must admit!

I opened from door today and screen door window crashed to the ground and shattered into many pieces. The clips were loose. So either need a new storm window or a new storm door but I'll just put the screen in for now.

Sounds like you weren't hit or cut by it. Thankful for that, Tabitha.
Just one more thing. how is your reconstruction going?

It was as I was opening door for the restoration workers. Kitchen/dining room is down to plywood. Most of kitchen/dining room boxed up. Flooring being installed after Easter. Basement is back to normal.

Did the ancient carpenter ply his dark craft in wood and thus ... there is nothing more poetic than a tree?

Someone said the before .... a' priori! Thus initiations in the shades ... at least 50 times redundant ... before it gets bored ...

Well, if nothing else, it is a time to start fresh. As I put stuff back on the shelves, I purged more books. I have a pile also that I have to read the first few pages to see if I have read or not. They were on my unread pile but they seem familiar.

Aaaaand that's a wrap, folks. London Ski Club has thrown in the towel and are ending the season tomorrow. Surprised they made it this far to be honest. Compare to the last two seasons when they had classes during March Break and had skiing until early April. This is the shortest ski season since Little M took up the sport. So, that pretty much ends winter here. They already have their rope course (normally a spring -summer activity) open.

Claire skis tomorrow. Not sure how many more days are left. I hope to get some runs on the weekend. If not, well, there's always next year. Operation Zachski will be in effect. Claire was about 18 months old when we first had her on skis, but she didn't stand on her own that first winter. Carter was 23 months old, because he was born in the winter, but he stood up on his own before his sister did. Zach will be 15 months old in January. If he's a good walker, I'll try him.

Anyone else have a pair of Super Slider Snowskates as a child?

No
to super slider sno skates.
I hope to ski X-C on Thurs. Despite warm temperatures down here there is lots of snow up those hills.
