*sigh* I think I may be getting some results tomorrow. Feeling super stressed. I think out of the likely possibilities I'm hoping for a specific test to come in positive as that's the best option. It's one not brought up by my doctor. They all seem to suck, but just different levels of suckiness.

I have 3 that I can see though that were ordered at that appointment. I'm guessing they just aren't available quite yet. Normally I wouldn't even think he would consider blocking, but he did ask me how I knew what my results were when I brought up the history of the one.I hope you get to see the specialist soon @ChemGal. Some doctors won't show the results online or release results until the patient has met with the doctor. So not seeing results yet does not have to be a bad thing.
Sending hugs your way.
I painted the brick around our original fireplaces - used regular latex paint. It's time consuming ... poking into all the mortar lines etc. - slow going. Of course have to wash, brush, clean the brick very well first. Took a couple of coats. I'm not sure how chalk paint would work - I have used it on furniture, but then waxed it with several coats of wax when fully dry - to improve durability & give it a bit of luster.I’ve been given permission to chalk paint/ whitewash the “fireplace” (it’s the chimney base with a fake fireplace looking heater in front of it) but I don’t know how, and don’t think I can do it myself (though I can reach the ceiling), so it’ll have to wait.
