Good morning! Happy Wednesday! Snow storms with substantial snow, shoveling fun, health improvements, and Indian food rituals, along with whatever else arises will come to the Coffee Cart with us for chat, support, and camaraderie. This morning we have fruit turnovers to enjoy from the bakery. The tea water is boiling, coffee freshbrewed, and the turnovers flaky and warm. All is ready, everyone welcome! Come join in!

Busy day today. Bible study this morning, then my friend came over this afternoon, because I said I'd take her to the Ladies' dinner tonight, so that she didn't have to go super early. We spent the afternoon turfing out my back hall closet. It's a beautiful thing. Two bags of textiles to Value Village, a bag to my daughter, my new "Linen overflow" shelves in the newly painted and sorted laundry room neatly filled, the kitchen paper moved back into the kitchen.

About 5 dozen german gingerbread cookies made and put away. Tasty, but quite different results to last year with the same recipe, which is the big guy's mother's and has some huge "information gaps" that apparently I made different decisions about last year... I'm not sure how one deals with a 70 year old recipe from Germany that requires "one package of Lebkuchen spice"...

Had a lovely time at Probus today. Listened to a delightful choir.

I wasn't sure if i would be up to going. I was tired by the end but glad i went.

This website claims they have the recipe

Brit recipes often call for Mixed Spice that seems to confuse North Americas who look for it at the store.

The urge for separation and dividing up ... in there something hidden ... but potentially cooking ... thus the cook Ee that's E on the fringe anticipating a snack ... integral "nac"? If it can reflect ... as a stormy Irish body of water ... come see it! Disturbing ... but it do flow ...

Imagine risers in the cool of the night coming round ... warming thought as entanglement?

It needs a fresh tyre ... tier ... so stacked!

Good Thursday morning! Busy days, choirs, dinners, and baking, among other things, and all that happens today, comes to the Coffee Cart with us for chat, support, connection, and community. We accomplish this over tea, coffee, and the gingerbread cookies the baker has provided. The tea water is ready, coffee is freshbrewed, and gingerbread is soft and warm. All is ready, and all are welcome. Come join the fun!

Church is set up for our 'shopping free' event for kids to get gifts for family members. We'll have baking, tea, coffee, juice available too. Now....we need faith that people will come on Saturday.
Our local United Church does that every year. They always seem to have customers..

Hmm. *toasts a crumpet and puts some jam on it* Not really a crumpet fan but I've never had chokecherry jelly so ... bottoms up!

Good evening. My December winter story. This morning I went to leave for work and there was probably an inch, maybe a bit less, of snow on the driveway. And my wife was returning from a trip out of town later. So I grabbed a shovel and gave it a quick pass. It was light, fluffy snow so took me all of ten or fifteen minutes. And it was sunny as I did this. Went back in the garage, put the shovel away, hopped in my car and backed out ... into a squall. Like, seriously, it came in in the few minutes that I was in the garage. Within a few minutes, we had whiteout conditions as I drove East on the main road near my house. A few more minutes, it stopped. Gotta love weather that changes on a minute time scale.

Our trips north start this weekend and wont stop until April. The first weekend is just clean up from moving so much crap from their house. Some will find a home in the shed I built. I hope most is donated or recycled. We'll be doing it in the snow, which is fine. I like snow.

Forecast is below freezing for the next two weeks. Ski hills are making snow as fast as they can pump water. Could be an amazing start to the season if this holds. Natural snow would be icing on the cake.

Natural snow job ... is that alien? You know with the denied crisis in the surrounding driving folk out of their what-cha-ma-collet ... no name?

In effable ... when you think of it ... I was told thinking is evil ... substitute non-sense! Thus wrinkles in time --- some author!
