Good Thursday morning! Good report card, offspring and spouse under the weather, disappearing snow (for now), support systems, and whatever arises to our minds today await us as we come together round the Coffee Cart for conversation, mutual support, and camaraderie, as well as tea and coffee, and baked goodies. Today the Wonderbakery has created cinnamon buns for our enjoyment. The tea water is boiling, and coffee is fresh brewed. The buns are soft and warm. All is ready, everybody is welcome. Come in and join the chat, and enjoy the company!

Ugh. This game is tiring. So, the doctor at the cancer clinic last week was concerned about my shortness of breath. I got a chest CT and learned it was bronchial pneumonia. That has cleared up. I was supposed to have treatment today. My bloodwork from yesterday had numbers that are a concern. I talked to him on the phone today, and he said there are different reasons for this. He ordered an urgent CT of the trunk, which I've had. I'll probably hear from him later. I'm wiped out. I haven't been eating as well this past week, so that's probably a factor. Another date with my recliner.

Sorry to hear, @Northwind . I hope you have a restful day. I’m glad the pneumonia’s cleared up. I had it about a year ago - not pleasant. You didn’t need that!

Oh dear. That must be very worrying. Glad you have medical people who seem to keep good track of the situation and communicate. Hopefully the next news will be good news.
 
Northwind, I do not like this apparent turn of events. I'm asking the Universe to correct course. I've discovered the Big Guy is quite receptive to a polite but firm "I do not like" as long as the accompanying reason seems sound to him. I hope Godde feels the same.

We had a lovely mini-American Thanksgiving dinner tonight, hoping that daughter or friend might join us; neither could for good reasons. Turkey breast roast, fixed up stuffing in a box, nice homemade gravy, canned cranberries, mashed, steamed broccoli, and a salad. My baby's birthday is tomorrow. 36 years ago I almost delivered a child in a car during a snowstorm...

aren't you a week early for US thanksgiving?
 
Next weekend, this black friday thing is very confusing. No Frills has black friday specials on saturday and sunday. Turkey was good, it was in the freezer, rest of ingredients were in the house bar a nn stuffing pkg and a few cremini mushrooms for said stuffing.
