Rhubarb relish? That's a new one on me. Mom did lots of things with rhubarb (we had some in our garden) but I don't recall that one. Rhubarb pie and variants thereof was always my favourite.

Really good for keeping the Ca+ soluble ... as a neuro cax on tilt ... Ca receivers, etc. are critical! There are many organic substitutions ... aminos ... flipped anima! Imagine that ...

Its as bad as physical against the naturopathic type ... where sole-body connections are considered dark and unseen ... pro found as deep ... the common are not allowed such info as bad intelligence ... few grasp the implications! Complexity characterized as androgyny ... hook ups?

What is dangerous in reality? Everything because it all can be divisive ... a consequence of what's in "M" ... mediums! Think about it ...

The attack was a month ago today. I'm glad the park seems to be taking this seriously. It's good Animal Control is taking this seriously. I really hope Hammer is not allowed to be at the park.

The thing that bothered me the most was the way it seemed the park wasn't taking this seriously and that Animal Control hadn't done anything. This experience validates the need to follow up on things like this. Sometimes that's the only way we can get answers and results.

Thankfully dog has healed well. She has even been back in the water. That makes her very happy. :)

I've always thought since my grandpuppy was attacked, that there should be some kind of provincial registers for every serious dog attack so these dogs can be known to be repeat offenders or not. Especially if they move around. Unfortunately the vet told us there isn't any.
Glad youre finding solutions and your dog is better.
 
Even you had a registry, how do you ensure it's tracking properly unless you mandate that dogs with a "criminal record" (so to speak) be chipped so you can use the chip to identify them. Because dog names can fairly easily be changed, even if it means doing some training. There's no formal name registration and change process like there is for us humans unless it's a registered purebred.

Apparently there is some sort of Provincial registry here in BC. The animal control guy knew there was at least one incident in another park in another city.

That is a good idea. I've been thinking about this. The owner of the dog has at least implied that Hammer was the attacking dog. The animal control guy said that Hammer was surrendered to the SPCA and put down because there were three incidents. The owner told us that Hammer's brother was put down because he killed three dogs. Hammer's owner would be the owner of both dogs. Hammer has been seen in the park this week. Something isn't right. We believe that the owner surrendered the brother or another dog and kept Hammer. The guy from animal control told us neither dog is supposed to be in the RV Park. He knew there were two dogs.

We'll see what happens. As far as we know Hammer and his people have not reserved for the next season.
 
Just think of all the items that power believe we shouldn't know about! Isn't that a great idea ... no questions asked?

What could I say when we the stunned are so surrounded by the best of everything in wealth, possessions, etc. "M" are smarter and sharper ...

When does the truth emerge? Consider the gambler on the train and the trump cards ...

Well I met that guy and his dog a week or two before the attack. He told me the dog was great with people and very dog aggressive. He knows.
 
If they are dog aggressive, I'd automatically be worried about people, too. You can't protect your dog without getting in the attacker's way. Witness your husband's experience.
 
What is the ultimate purpose of pardoning criminals convicted of serious crimes ... and further what is the final effect ... setting evil free?

Yet there is this guideline of forgiving the greater criminal and taking it out on the minimal enigmas ...

Does setting a myriad of lesser crimes free equal setting a gross criminal power loose?

Equanimity ... or just nim ...
 
Yet what do brute powers support? Assertion gone rampant ... not to be mentioned in pleasant company! I'm often told to shut up by that type ... leads to ignore process and ignore rants ...
 
Good morning! News of a friend's spouse passing on, thoughts on aggressive dogs, and the dogs and persons involved in attacks, all the other things that may come to mind today (e.g. what did you think of the Speech from the Throne?) we bring it to the Coffee Cart with us to discuss, to find and offer support, to form community connections, and to enjoy each other company. This morning we have bear claws to enjoy with our tea and coffee. The tea water is ready, coffee, as always, is freshbrewed, and the bear claws are nicely warmed. Allis ready, all are welcome! Come join the fun!

Already commented on the speech from the throne
 
The fire situation is dire. Numerous fires, closing highways etc.. Of course, in the north there are few highways so access is badly impeded. The village ten miles away is under Evacuation Alert. Two fires have combined into one. Lots of people evacuated, property destroyed, beautiful places changed for ever.

We are fortunate that we have very little smoke locally. I would likely finish up in the hospital if we had days of thick smoke.
 
TOmorrow morning I am going to represent the church as a long-time friend is taken off life support. THe hospital asked if the family had a religious community and while they sort of do (the church in which I grew up) that connection is tenuous at best. So since I will be in town for the Regional Council meeting anyway I was asked to go with them. This is extended 'family by choice'.
