Geez. I got bloodwork done on Friday. They didn't do the kidney function tests which are quite important. I called the lab call centre and she will forward a message to them. I'll have to get more blood drawn. They have a guy there who checks you in. I think he was learning how to do the registering stuff. We get a card with the tests when it's a standing order and clearly they missed that. He also missed that my glucose test was a fasting test. I remembered that while I was there and they were able to sort that out at least. I'm wondering if they missed something else. Bloody hell.

Was it someone different again? Sorry to hear this happened.

Likely the flame sensor. Furnace comes on, but if the flame sensor isn't detecting a flam

The plugged filter is probably something you've already checked. The flame sensor could be a diy job if you're handy.
Yup - checked the more obvious stuff but not up to doing much. Thanks for the suggestions.

Gosh Kay - hoping you and your water pipes stay warm enough! That is VERY cold weather - and of course that's when the furnace acts up!!
Fortunately it is only acting up rather than ceased working. A few electric heaters are helping until the fix it guy comes over. If it was just not working he would have come right away.

Is care something that is required along with a working position ... in addition to the pay or is it all about the money? Thus some Job's feel degraded by those there for reason of Monet alone ...

With shape changers in word and no one following the evolution ... things can go down in folly!

I found this with my name that some powerful people told me I was all wrong about hoo Iam in this J'm ... Jimmied? I really don't want to be here ... there must be some kind of mistake about how the smith hammered it out ...

What a squeeze getting caught between emotional and intellectual essences ... can something come fourth? Then fifth ... quintessence ... a strange hand?

Have a power to be handy in the Jam called life --- Red Green! Like is said to be rough for the masses because of isolated and autonomous avarice ... thus gravid crushing ... Jew Sous will flow ... the under wash or wake?

The guy who checks you in has worked there for a while. I believe he's essentially a clerk of some kind. He's not a lab tech. Because of his role and location, he gets interrupted frequently. He was juggling more than one task. I believe he's learning this role. When you have a standing order, they give you a card which is business card size, with the required tests listed. I could look at my card and see that glucose was fasting. Creatinine is listed. It shouldn't be so difficult. I called the lab call centre and will have to go back to get more blood drawn. Of course it's too late to use what they had.

This lab is usually amazing. I've never had problems with them before. The only problems have been when the person who sends the requisition hasn't faxed them.

I wonder when folk will begin to care about what they do better ... again ... after the entire thing is isle ... from isolationism? Thus elimination of the neighbor ...

Things like this make me wonder why we seem to have so many people not doing their job in the medical field. I had a cardiology appointment on Nov 6. They cancelled it. Gave me another appointment for the 26th. Cancelled again and said they would reschedule it. Haven't heard a thing!

I had four different docs try to do a needed gastroscopy on me. They all made to choke and failed to get past my throat. My doc said he'd order one with anesthetic at the hospital in the city. Drove down to the city, they refused to knock me out for such a simple procedure and made me choke again without getting past my throat. Still don't know what is going on with my swallowing problem!

The health care situation would be improved if people just did what they are paid to do!

Thinking about names...

• My mother's side of our family's of Scottish descent. Half of her family now use Mc(Name) as their last name, and the other half use Mac(Name). It gets confusing. This affects also my middle name, which was my mother's maiden name.

• My first name's so easy to spell. My father thought he and my mother named me after his brother, but my mother also had a serious relationship with a man of the same name.

• On the night I met the woman who'd become my wife, I asked her what her name was. My friend told me to guess. I guessed a number of English names and then gave up. She then told me her Korean name. After a short time dating, at her request, I gave her an English name. It's a name that's now reasonably similar in sound to that of my oldest sister and two of our nieces (all different). When we married, my wife kept her family name, which is Korean tradition.

• In time, a Korean friend of mine gave me a Korean name.

• When I meet new students here, I find that most of them have English names. If someone doesn't, I ask them if they'd like one. If they say no, I respect that and call them their Korean names. Some of the adults I've taught have just wanted to go by their initials.

Among lost cause is the sense of the outlaw that has gotten beyond all reasonable profit margins as the powers test the market place to see what will bring on collapse of the ... empire? Law St what you'd expect ... desire diminishes one becoming aware of the unbalance due to avarice ... thus sate 'n may be encountered as satisfied with the biddy information ... Plato liked forms! Then there was Cuneiform ... things like >< ... some stood on end ... rye 'p? Sheaved ...

Alas I am directed it is difficult the squeeze virtue out of some materialisms ... immaterial ... thus essence! Some magnetic and electric ... shocking eh!

One must read into 'it ... no superficial skim ... learning is 9 layers of 'elle ... comes just before the 10's of the shade of soul ...

I am told the soul, mind, psyche and associated sophistication is not an earthy thing ... mired down? Below the horizon ... fathom that ...

Grain of thought may be required for açee'd ... abstract dissemination?

What's a mill in Nia as time churns causing meltdown ... orange clock work?

If this occupies a mind ... would it drive out desire ... allowing for occupied democrats ... de mock rats ... road runners? Empires seize as Emperors in great paranoia ... about their cover ... accrued myth? Go for the dash ... not the point ... don't go for the love alone ... because love is envious in pure form!

It requires 4 thought, intelligence ... complexity! Five digits? From the 6 on the do nots ... like do not forget the grand people for decent reason!

The grander folk are down ... supporting ... consider the implications and impetus ... her Kohl'n eh! Some say Herculean to cause a change of cosmological laws ... impossible given the extent ... even with the sloe as it sloeth! Latent or just lay ten + ... TU's? Back to the healthcare system. I have been experiencing similar frustration on Mr Paradox's behalf. No need to share the whole story. Will get the coffee going while I'm here.

Good morning! Thanks to P3 for starting the coffee.
Driving in winter, hospitals, furnaces, Oh My... plus drawing blood, fun with similar names, or wrong names, or pronunciation of names. These thoughts, as well as other events and thoughts will come to the Coffee Cart today, for discussion, for mutual support, for building and deepening community. The coffee is fresh, tea water is hot, and the croissants fresh and warm. Come in as you have a chance, and join in the conversations. Everyone is welcome, and all the goodies are ready. Come and get it!
