Beautiful sunshine. Just a little achy from yesterday.

I realize it is hard for people when their doctors are not helpful. A year ago we were finally getting progress on determination of the cause of facial pain B had been experiencing since the beginning of February and that was because we could afford to pay for a special MRI recommended by a Facial pain specialist. The appointment with the specialist was initiated by a dentist

Pain issues are often very difficult to resolve.
What did it cost for you to get an MRI, if I may ask?

$851 from a clinic in Montreal. The MRI clearly showed a significant swelling of w nerve in her Jaw. It was a special MRI.

Someone I know got in for an MRI quite quickly this month. It was not an emergency situation. Toronto location.

This particular hospital books the scans 24 hours a day. I don't know how many machines they might have.

Swell nerves can be a pain ... like the experience of neuropathy ... a poorly understood function in the field of sentient matter!

Items many do not wish to consider ...

And in other news, in my 'busy day', the social that involved cleaning car, making quiche and ferrying around elders, I was gifted with this quilt. I am blown away with love and appreciation of this gift.
That is warming in several ways. You will enjoy it for many years.

Good morning. It's early here. My coffee is brewed and I'm going to read a book. I here a woodpecker or two nearby and songbirds are singing. The sun is rising.

Our local hospital got a second MRI machine a couple years ago. It may have opened in around 2020 or 21. They operate 24/7. I don't know what the wait is these days. It's a regional hospital so is busy.

That quilt is beautiful. A quilt is like a sewn hug and is a special gift. Enjoy.

I had a woodpecker outside my kitchen window last night. Unsure of species but it was a smaller one. It was pecking away, making taps that were just audible. Cute little thing. Got some pics on my phone but not they are very good. By the time I grabbed the phone, the woodpecker was obscured by a branch. Right now, yard is full of tweets and twitters, the bird kind not the social media kind.

We have an overabundance of bunny's around, and also a couple of foxes that are regular visitors, so the rabbit population seems to go up and down through the summer. Last night one of the foxes attempted to walk close to me sitting on the patio, but I shooed it away.
We also have a certain Robin that seems to like to hang around also...comes fairly close when he's on the ground.

The bunnies seem less numerous this year. Not sure why. No foxes around here on a regular basis since I'm in a suburb, though there are probably some down in the valley where I go on my walks.

The two foxes coming around are pretty scraggly looking.

Birds are in very short supply around here. Normally we have several varieties nesting in the yard, and fill several feeders daily. This year - barely a bird to be seen. It feels spooky. Driving in the country the ponds and sloughs are normally well sprinkled with a variety of water birds - but basically empty this year. It reminds me of Silent Spring!

Interesting. The birds are going great guns around here. I've seen birds I rarely see, like that woodpecker, multiple times. Must be something happening out West.

Pesticide sprays get rid of insects. No.insects equals no food for birds. The dry spring would have been hard on insects and birds as well. In the eleven years we were in Calgary, insect and bird populations declined noticeably.

I heard a mocking bird this morning, he was sitting on the power line in front of my house. First thought it was a nightingale- he had quite the repertoire . Looked it up and it clearly was a mocking bird.

True enough. Fewer insects about, fewer frogs and toads too . I find it very depressing and scary for my grandkids..

Good morning! MRI machines, waiting lists, woodpeckers, rabbits, foxes, birds, and the decreasing number of the creatures, for all other thoughts and topics that come to us during the day, the Coffee Cart and the Room are ready for it. Coffee is fresh, tea water hot, all is ready. Come join in!

Remember powerful bosses will state it just isn't true because of all the lies they've laid out ... that's corrupt authority for you.

Furthermore they are so esteemed they cannot be changed as they fear failing as an edifice ... thus dust ... how stone wears in the grind. One has to join life to experience it outside the abstract ... a dark process as thou art crossing that thin line ...
