Cough heh does ... especially at some processes ...

Nothing to sneeze at as some say that is a moment when a spirit can escape ... incidentally!

Adding my hugs to Carolla's.

Went to my writing site this morning to find that a longtime member had passed away. He went by the handle "Survivor", a reference to his previous bouts with cancer. Apparently, it came back about a month ago per others who knew him better than I. One of his writer friends posted a gorgeous memorial poem.

About ten cm of snow arrived in the night and this morning, powdery snow close to the texture of granulated sugar. Nice to shovel.

We got the same sort of stuff, albeit not as much, closer to 3-4 cm. Bit slippery where it's not plowed.

Drove the cat to the vets this a.m., after stuffing her in the carrier (this cat is really learning to hate me; she only sees me when I'm there to stuff her in a box, jam a cone on her head or drive her for miles in the car, howling for her Mom - not me - the whole time). Ran into traffic on the 400 south, took 27 down instead, very messy driving - salty spray everywhere. Got the "re-fill your wiper fluid" message on the way down (it's an out of town vet - long story), so got to worry about that all the way there and back, because I don't yet know how to pop the hood and refill it, and I wasn't keen to learn via the owners manual in a car with a howling cat. Anyway, cat is fine, her stitches are out, and she has healed well, and we're good to go until she needs rabies shot next year, and given that she will never be outside, we may not worry too much about that.

There is this no job between Dominion and Fox Mules it seems ... what a bunch of Donkeys with Sara Chasm ...

(did you know sarah was once a word for the head man that goes round?) vert egos ...)

All life seems ridiculous and thus requiring an eternal sense of question ... the right will be up against that concept!

When caught in a lie they say to continue ... repeat, repeat, repeat ... so now yos know where we're at ... and the icon ffs takes flight ... as a double integral ...

Thank gods for the many quiries ... alien Ayres? Much prop of the ganda ... just look, observe screw the blind ...

Well s**t.

Just was advised of a disconcerting health finding for someone that I care about.

Damn, damn, double damn.

‘It’s a miracle’: 93-year-old mystery quilt returns home to Echo Bay
I hope you can open the above link. It is about an old church quilt that found its way from California to Ontario last month. I was leading worship at the church the day they announced the story.
I read about that quilt and thought it was an interesting story. It is even more interesting to know you have a connection to it!

Words our mothers may have discouraged seem to be in order at such times. Recently several of our friends and neighbours have fallen prey to nasty diagnoses. One died a week after their difficulties were confirmed as ALS - I didn't know it could kill that quickly. Another friend is now in LTC unable to walk or hold a conversation with problems that started with Parkinsons and progressed. Getting older depends on our ability to avoid these random pitfalls!

Good morning! Happy weekend! A holiday weekend for many. As we think of snow, of health issues for people we care about, even the passing of people from other sites and other places, let us gather in spirit at the Coffee Cart, give and to receive support and conversation. All is ready, come on in.

Family Dae is Monday ... time to prop a gate and thus many gated communities where aliens suffer shut out and we learn of nothing strange ... just auld matter ... thus beads on a string ... iconic? Sometimes the beads are just knots carrying a thread of information if you unravel the Balaam code ... something somewhat skewed because of those not wishing to know how phoque are created with inner know how ... intuit matter?

Like the environment it goes round imprecisely known ... wood ent yah know ET! It is all in word recorded and great powers tell us we should be illiterate as indigents ... so they can have great joy in unshared experiences ... albeit sealed off phoque ... isolated thought thus descends ... depends on levels and tiers ... in the story! Facetiae? Maybe fak etus ... so consumed by the mystery ...

Something unexpected happened at our family gathering: Oldest son's little guy (18 months) got a shirt dirty, and was changed into a clean shirt....that said "Best Big Bro", which is how we learned that there will be a new grandchild in September!!! Added lots of excitement to the gettogether.

I spoke to my parents last night. Three elderly family members are struggling with serious health problems. One is in hospital. And a neighbour across the street from them died suddenly earlier last week. It wasn’t from MAiD it was some kind of sudden organ failure but they didn’t elaborate. He dropped in when I was there at Christmas and I could see that he’d aged but he didn’t seem ill. When I was living there he was always friendly in a curmudgeonly sort of way - very smart, had lots of knowledge to share. I feel sad about it. I didn’t know him well but he was familiar. Was a neighbour since I was 15. He used to share a newspaper subscription with my parents so I chatted with him in their driveway briefly but semi regularly if he was coming by to pick it up or drop it off. Or said hi from across the street. His wife is also very kind and she’s been a cancer survivor in recent years. She’s pretty shocked. Apparently he was one of those people who avoided the doctor and downplayed or didn’t talk about his health much. Not even with her.

I have to admit it describes me too, on and off. I go through phases where I’m terrified of doctors. I think it’s a common human fault/ fear. Especially if experiences haven’t been good ones.

Good morning! We have come to the last Sunday before Lent begins. Any thoughts or plans on how to mark the days of Lent? Anyway, for family gatherings this weekend, for the day off tomorrow for many of us, for other subjects, the Coffee Cart is open for conversation and co munity. Come over and join in!
