I was the editor for the church newsletter for a while, but the annual report was with the office. There's always that one submission that you have to hunt down, eh. For me, sadly, it was often either the minister or the board president and I really could not go to press without them. Fortunately, once I had it put together and into PDF format, someone else was printing and assembling the paper copies (it was during my tenure that we started to move to electronic distribution for anyone with an email address on file with the office).
 
Our report isn't very big, but it still takes a few hours to put together. The missing piece is the budget!!!! But, the treasurer will have to add it after I've photocopied and collated. This is the only day I have time to do this.
 
It was a beautiful day for a walk today. We walked along the waterfront with friends then went to a local tea house after. It was a nice way to spend an afternoon.

Northwind....I'm a little jealous. Those pictures give me hope that there is life after winter!

Today, two grandkids come to visit and stay over night. I always worry that I won't have the athletic ability to keep up with them! But I'll do my Grandma duty and cook favourite foods.

Stimulus, do we need more or some of those out there need to be nailed down?

In one archaic tongue this was onyx dai ... and Dae light sunk in! Expect those of this wend to alter the path under the auspices of avarice ... control ... not culpability! Wh wishes to be held responsible?

Thus so many back stage ... allowing for feedback ... tis psyche enigma ... phenomenal!

Oh crap we couldn't have that ... far out particulates fusing? Imagine Alpha and Beta spots forming real stuff a temporalism within the un believing ... rites over head? What a way to lose it ... brae 'n fogging ... forces us in nut ... crossing is the end aura ... a glowing ring? Sheer icon ... developing a hollow particle in the neural realm ... Noos are really hated in the literature ... vewy complex ... so says the rabid ...
 
Hello wondercafe friends. It's been a long while since I've popped in to say hi and I am delighted that Room for All is still continuing.

I heard about seeler and came back to add my gratitude for all she has contributed to wondercafe and to me personally when I was a frequent flyer at wondercafe. She is a special person.

And wondercafe is a special place. It was a life line for me when my kids were little. A place where I could connect with new friends and have fun and meaningful discussion. I learned a lot here. About faith, the world, community and about myself too. I appreciate this place and all of you.

Thanks again for keeping this thread open. Wishing you a wonderful and wonder-filled day. ❤

Thanks Mendalla. It's been nice to visit, read through threads and get caught up a bit. A special place this is. ❤
 
Greetings, BusyMom! This thread is your legacy here, and I know that all of us deeply appreciate its warmth and peace (even if we sometimes cross boundaries into "debate", even here, LOL). Seeler's presence in this Room has been essential from the very first, as was Crazyheart's.

*Bette adds some sachets of CBD soothing tea to the Beverage cart*

Wishing all who are able a refreshing, peaceful, pain-free/healed "Son"day. I am off to enjoy Pork Chops, Homemade Scalloped Potatoes, Beans and Cheese in Taco Bowls, salad, as a sort of Superbowl meal.
