Wonder if it would work on our cruise (assuming we would be willing to fork out the usurious prices Carnival charges for wi-fi, which we likely won't).
 
I shot one in the garden yesterday ... found out it was ground hog ... sort of like an A-10! Mixed missals ... and a GE Gatling ... tuckered into the base ... ground level attack on spiritual base?

Never mind that the game developers have ties to the intelligence community, that by playing the game you're essentially doing the CIA and NSA's jobs for them, that by agreeing to the terms and conditions of the game you have to waive certain legal rights, or that this could be the beginning of a more nefarious type of technology.

Those little details are of no real importance apparently.

Even less important are the world events that these techno-zombies are distracting themselves from.

But who can think about justice and government accountability when there's Pokémon to catch?

So by not paying attention to what is actually going on, masses of people dissociating unconsciously with things like Pokemon Go are aligning themselves with chaos and destruction - Fun!

Monk. Honestly , you have no fricking clue of what you are talking about.

My profession is security. I was at a conference with the best of the best.

Trust me, pokemon go is the least of your worries.

You're most probably correct Pinga. That said, the Pokemon GO TOS are a pocket monster unto themselves. I almost downloaded the game til I glanced over the terms.
 
On the lighter side - I got a post in FB about a group putting Pokémon to good use. Apparently an animal shelter worker heard someone say jokingly that Pokémon users really ought to get dogs so they didn't look like they were exercising their phones.

After a few laughs they put up a notice "Rent a dog to walk while playing Pokémon. $5 an hour".
They got lots of takers and were able to reduce the fee they charged for adoptions. Eventually they had to import dogs from another location.

Any thing to sell dog maas ... improved BS?
 
I think there need to be limits on where kids can go. Parents need to be involved, because it's unrealistic to expect the app to know every hazard in the world. Traffic, bad neighbourhoods, natural features like bodies of water and steep hills, private property, etc. all have to be respected.

Quoted for lots and lots of truth. And, honestly, I worry far more about the adults and older teens who are doing dumb stuff playing the game (e.g. driving and playing) than the kids.
