Yes, a pathogen that kills quickly and is highly contagious for less than a day or so, similar to SARS is more effective. The user only needs to wait a few days before coming on scene.
 
The problem with anthrax is bacterial spores can last many years in the soil, but a vicious form of Strep A could be a possibility.
 
Something that isn't getting enough attention IMO. In Canada there were more Covid deaths in 2022 than in 2021 or 2020. I am uncertain if this is true in all provinces as well, but seems likely based on how every province handled this over time and general rates of infection.
 
Totally agree. Politicians seem reluctant to clearly inform the public that Covid is killing more people now than it did when we did not yave a vaccine. We are not getting stats about the difference made by various levels of vaccinations.

Especially with the bivalents. I haven't put a ton of effort into seeking, but I haven't heard anything about the difference between original SpikeVax/Comirnaty and the newer formulas with real world data.
 
I can't believe some of the current ridiculous policies. There's the testing those coming from China. In BC, 12 people are in BC with the XBB.1.5 variant aka Kraken. What's the point when we allow people who are COVID positive go almost wherever they please without testing what variant they have?

If officials are really concerned they should be stepping up policies to prevent spread.
Seems like grandstanding and not actually doing anything helpful.

The China testing - I could let that one go with some major side-eye because I think a lot of it is related to poor political relations, plus other countries are doing the same thing. I didn't both posting earlier because of this.
The individual in isolation though? I haven't seen if it was voluntary or not, if not I think that's grounds for a lawsuit because it's singling people out with no plan for actually managing this.

Look at some leading Houses of federalistic despicability!

Do they stand against them's elves? They may even be blind to their own legends and myths as pagaen a pod ... clear trope!

US has dropped the use of Evusheld, Canada continues to use it. Part of the reason is the claim that we have different variants that are making up the majority of cases. For how long?
A year ago I would have gotten this if given the ok. Now I probably wouldn't bother (not eligible anyway, medication potential exists though where I would be).
It's sad as unlike vaccination the purpose of this (in terms of clinical studies) was to prevent infections, not just reduce severity. And this is for people who are unlikely to respond to vaccines effectively.

Big wheels are demanding though ... ask merrily ... the authorities do not like direct questioning ... be indeterminate give them wiggle room ... thus the kahn ... an inn for worms!
 
Alberta is no longer providing Evusheld to everyone who previously met the criteria.
Recent evidence suggests Sotrovimab and Evusheld may not be effective in treating or, in the case of Evusheld, preventing, the dominant COVID-19 variants in Alberta at this time. Paxlovid and Remdesivir are the only two medications recommended at this time. In situations where neither of these medications can be prescribed, your physician may consider Sotrovimab or Evusheld on a case-by-case basis.

They are also dropping the screening for variants, the last province to have maintained that. Genomic sequencing will still occur for those severely sick and for a portion of positive samples.
 
If you have the right condition ... you're likely to be dead ... thos in the condition look at this the alternate way from those trying to reserve fortunes for unknown reason ... as it is all left behind in an after sight ... you can see it going ... prescient variant of hind sight?

Just an outside thought as thoughts finfd it difficul to get into emoted zoans ... dems Gongs ...

The minister involved had a terribly bad response to whatever prompted the comment. It is close to really black humour.
