The woman who used to care for my nephews has covid, along with her family (at least 3 positive tests and at least 1 negative although the negative test was in a kid with symptoms, so probably just didn't get tested at the right time). They are almost out of the isolation period, all seem to be ok. One has a genetic condition involving development delays so good to hear they are all doing well. I think her biggest issue was being in isolation with 4 kids, recently blended family so 2 of hers and 2 of his.
Since her boys are the same age as my nephews and she had a "dayhome" (just her 2 kids and my nephews) for 3 years they were all close. They missed out on my nephew's birthday party so I think that was a pretty big disappointment for the one kid. Fingers crossed the stress with being stuck at home and feeling crappy for a few days are the only problems for them.
