Yes, I wonder if the history of having been ruled by communists plays a role in the reaction of the population in those countries. Similar in East Germany. My theory is that they still haven’t learned to think for themselves and therefore haven’t come to the conclusion that freedom and personal responsibility go hand in hand and that freedom means one can agree to something even though “ your parents”or “ the government” has said it.

There isn't a need to pull contract tracers to prioritize groups it's a small number of people who make the decisions.
You go by birthdate, that’s not a whole lot of sorting people. Now you want to go by age and disability? How do yo sort people by disability? Studying their online chart? Having everybody see their doctor to get a note? How much would that mess up the dr’s to to actually see sick people? It would take staff to do that. Staff that could actually be used to help with speeding up the vaccinations.
It's why I've suggested to go by Connect Care here. No studying needed just a quick look at diagnosed conditions which should be 1 list. Not much more complicated than birthdate.
And that could be phased in too. Heck don't even open it up, send out codes via Connect Care (codes were sent to healthcare workers in the earlier stages for them to book appointments) and then open it up after so many of those are dealt with. That can ease some of the overloading problems with booking.
Nova Scotia doesn’t have Connect Care.
I'm not a fan of this as there are legitimate reasons. Why not explain how one can be served if they cannot wear a mask?
Call the store and ask about pick up options. We have been in this for a year now. People should know. People who enter a store without mask are very likely to do this for the wrong reasons.
It's ridiculing those with disabilities.
