With colds and allergies you won’t have a fever and muscle aches
this, like a severe flu would have fever, congestion that quickly moves to pneumonia. Again, the risk , like a lot of viruses is for elderly and people with other conditions
it is reasonable to try to get a handle on the spread. If that means shutting down large events and screening people then it does
i Do think that for people who suffer from seasonal allergies it will be awkward as others would want to avoid them. But , at least in Ontario, it isn’t seasonal allergy season. No grass. No budding trees. Yet. Expect it is starting in B.C. which I agree is bad timing.
i am not sure why but when I read your posts you seem to be annoyed that precautions are being taken. You seem to say that you personally feel it is an over reaction. So far what we are seeing in canada seems to be measure and reasonable. Though I expect there are lots of disappointed fans of concerts and skating and tennis and other events that have cancelled audiences.
if 40 % of Canada gets this that is a lot of sick people. That is a lot of businesses that will go under. That is a lot of people who won’t afford rent and food. That is a lot of deaths. Let’s take precautions. Let’s avoid crowds.
