The massive WHO vaccination campaign was confirmed by Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on February 28.“…work is also progressing on vaccines and therapeutics. More than 20 vaccines are in development globally, and several therapeutics are in clinical trials. We expect the first results in a few weeks” (emphasis added)

Not so easy to get a decent supply of all necessities with a rare disorder.I agree that people should not panic.
You should consider how well equipped you are in the event the world goes into panic. Can you sit back and avoid the panic, or would you have to run into the fray?
I have doubled stock on standard stuff. TP, cat food and litter. Rice and beans make a complete protein.
Always be prepared. It’s still easy and cheap to load up on some calorie dense food. If nothing happens, you haven’t lost anything.
Not likely given that there is no human-tested vaccine yet. Per the article below, almost all COVID-19 vaccines and treatments are still pre-clinical. One treatment is in Stage 3 and one vaccine is in stage 1 and that's about it. It is within the realm of possibility that what happened with SARS will happen here: All the vaccine research done during the outbreak was shelved once it ended and since SARS never returned, none of it was ever completed.
Rare disorders are not as lucrative as panic demics ?Not so easy to get a decent supply of all necessities with a rare disorder.

Thinking about groceries, should we be purchasing fruits and vegetables that others have touched?
Well I was thinking that this virus was spread by water and droplets, that the virus could be on the food.....and of course is just cleansing with water enough or would it be better to microwave also?Same rules as ever. Wash them and peel them if they can be peeled. Wear disposable gloves or wash hands thoroughly afterwards. This is not a food borne infection after all.
The vitamins in fresh fruit and vegetables are more important than ever during sick season

Do we know if it would take a certain temperature to destroy the virus?
