I agree that people should not panic.
You should consider how well equipped you are in the event the world goes into panic. Can you sit back and avoid the panic, or would you have to run into the fray?

I have doubled stock on standard stuff. TP, cat food and litter. Rice and beans make a complete protein.

Always be prepared. It’s still easy and cheap to load up on some calorie dense food. If nothing happens, you haven’t lost anything.

Rackets go on ...
  • Without a fear campaign coupled with fake news, the incidence of COVID-19 would not have made the headlines.
“…work is also progressing on vaccines and therapeutics. More than 20 vaccines are in development globally, and several therapeutics are in clinical trials. We expect the first results in a few weeks” (emphasis added)
The massive WHO vaccination campaign was confirmed by Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on February 28.

COVID-19 constitutes a multi-billion corporate bonanza for Big Pharma.

COVID-19 is precipitating humanity into a dangerous and unfolding global process of economic, social and geopolitical destabilization.

Panic Demic Indeed.

Not likely given that there is no human-tested vaccine yet. Per the article below, almost all COVID-19 vaccines and treatments are still pre-clinical. One treatment is in Stage 3 and one vaccine is in stage 1 and that's about it. It is within the realm of possibility that what happened with SARS will happen here: All the vaccine research done during the outbreak was shelved once it ended and since SARS never returned, none of it was ever completed.

Fear is represented by pissy yellow while red is a hue denoting mad hunger for more and the depression of share and share alike ... thus missing the Golden Thingy!

There are many that can't see the red aye cometh!

Hugs Seeler - sounds to me like Seelerboy has a good head for staying calm & carrying on.

My son & gf are in the midst of their plans for this year's big travel - 6 weeks to Glasgow & London for soccer tournament; then to Amsterdam & on to Belgium for a huge famous electronic music festival. 6 weeks of travel. At this point their major event tickets are purchased, accomodations booked and last thing to do was air tickets - planning June departure & early August return. So they're waiting a bit on air tix to see how this will unfold.

Not so easy to get a decent supply of all necessities with a rare disorder.

... and will soon be deployed in a pair of large, late-stage studies in Asia.

Later this month, Gilead will recruit about 1,000 patients diagnosed with the coronavirus to determine whether multiple doses of remdesivir can reverse the infection.

The primary goals are reducing fever and helping patients get out of the hospital within two weeks.

The drug, which previously failed in a study on Ebola virus, is also being studied in smaller trials in China and the U.S.

Remdesivir is not yet licensed or approved anywhere globally and has not been demonstrated to be safe or effective for any use.

Working with government agencies, non-governmental organizations and local regulatory authorities, Gilead is providing remdesivir to qualified patients with COVID-19 on a compassionate use basis for emergency treatment outside of ongoing clinical studies.

Rare disorders are not as lucrative as panic demics ?

Now that there's 18 infected in Ontario, everyone is stockpiling groceries, face masks and prescription medicines.
Thinking about groceries, should we be purchasing fruits and vegetables that others have touched?

Same rules as ever. Wash them and peel them if they can be peeled. Wear disposable gloves or wash hands thoroughly afterwards. This is not a food borne infection after all.

The vitamins in fresh fruit and vegetables are more important than ever during sick season

What a paean ... as the chords of choir boies speak out of the silence (imposed by transient tyrants) about excessive washes ... and thoughts were flushed out ...

Within the boies some "G" hurls ... sight unseen as abstract black! Like vacuum ... hard to maintain due to leakage ... diffusion? Works in OZmosis ... and other OZ monia ...

Look hard ... there might be something in 'ere ... even though it may be dark ... as fictitious Eve under the trees ... songs of Tomah! Some traditions use Tam Aria ... the prickly scrub ... includes the rash and devious ithchi ... maybe the duck NDs affiliations! Aqueous ...

So much to learn from the mental pool before the fall ... when the phantom is condensed ... sublimely as a flake! * penth vs * as maketh some sicketh elle ... not kohl!

The isleness of humanity ... reproduction ... copty rites? Cause alas we cannot abide by anon ... therein the same ole same old ...

What to learn from it? You cannot say the same thing over ... as the authorities fear redundant impressions ... their prerogative?

Can come back at yah like HEH ghosts ... may be seminal ... and semitic fears ... some 'ave eM and some don't ... excessive vacancies?

Well I was thinking that this virus was spread by water and droplets, that the virus could be on the food.....and of course is just cleansing with water enough or would it be better to microwave also?
Do we know if it would take a certain temperature to destroy the virus?

Do you wash your hands with boiling water?
