That is a scary thing. The world seems crazier, greedier, more selfish, more violent than ever.

Actually, another news says that the murderer gets “ thumbs up” and praise on a media called “ telegram”, which has no way of reporting hate and doesn’t fall under the restrictions that have been put on facebook and other media. Never heard of Telegram before, but it is supposed to be widely used by neonazis and antivaxxers after facebook was made to react to false information.I would not be surprised if thw customer turns out to be part of the right/ neo nazi movement. Germany has elections as well this month and a right wing group has hung up posters saying “ Hang the Greens”. There were some east German cities/ towns in the darkest area of Germany where the police did not remove them immediately, but waited for a court order.
That’s not good at all. Perhaps we’re in crisis and we just don’t know. I’ll be staying put as per usual. I had a Shaw cable guy last week, as I could not connect to the outside world. He asked if there any “Covid problems” in my unit. I told him I was vaccinated but he didn’t ask for proof.Odd they won't share the data. Secrecy over B.C.'s true number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients

Secrecy over B.C.'s true number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients
The number of British Columbians in hospital due to COVID-19 is a tightly-held secret, as the province removes those who are no longer infectious from the tally – even though those individuals may spend months in treatment.flip.it
I think that NS has do pne that ,too in the past. Once they are off precautions they didn’t get counted anymore. Not sure what they are doing now. Another thing that happened was that the corrected Covid numbers, I think they counted people who were coming from other Provinces to the number in that province or so.Odd they won't share the data. Many issues actually happen later though, plus those people in the hospital usually take longer than 14 days to recover.if provinces want to split the numbers that's fine, but they shouldn't exclude a large number of serious outcomes from the data.I think that NS has do pne that ,too in the past. Remember the line in Star Wars about Mos Eisley spaceport being a "hive of scum and villainy"? It works for Telegram, too, or so I hear. Basically, when the mainstream social networks finally started cracking down on the alt-right after January 6, Telegram welcomed them with open arms.Actually, another news says that the murderer gets “ thumbs up” and praise on a media called “ telegram”, which has no way of reporting hate and doesn’t fall under the restrictions that have been put on facebook and other media. Not a joke and I hope some of them get sued for the effects on those waiting surgeries..My daughter pointed this out from Edmonton. A Covid party? Sounds like a joke.

'COVID party' send Edson residents to Edmonton ICU
“It’s just unbelievable.” A number of Edson residents are in Edmonton ICUs following a gathering to try and get COVID-19-- as a way to achieve natural immunity. One virologist explains why that’s a dangerous idea.edmonton.citynews.ca
No kidding. My daughter said they’re down to single digits of ICU beds available. Not a joke and I hope some of them get sued for the effects on those waiting surgeries..
310 are occupied and normally we don't have 300 ICU beds.No kidding. My daughter said they’re down to single digits of ICU beds available.
I really don't understand the thinking in some areas. It certainly seems to rub off a bit on people not drom there who have been there a while. Immediate area people seem to be more sensible. Is there something in the water out there?
It's not even what gets labeled electivr. Organ transplants are stopped with the organs not being used. What's really bugging me is the number of people, country-wide, who need "elective" surgeries, that are being indefinitely postponed. And elective doesn't mean "unnecessary"; my boarder's rather bad hernia is going to kill her, or cause significant problems, if these postponements go on much longer. I know folks who are very restricted waiting for joint surgery. This is craziness and I get madder every day at these idiots. I totally get that a small proportion of the population can't be vaccinated. But I'll give you dollars to donuts that these apparently healthy, very angry, largely male, persons are not them.
Is it an adult only space for now? I think the under 12s are a big spreading factor too, which isn't anyone's fault besides things that are driving population spread in general. I think though consideration needs to be made on risk vs benefit before they are around vulnerable populations. Our Board, at the church, has taken the step of refusing entry to the church building unless one is double-vaccinated, OR can provide a medical certificate, NOT from a GP, but from an immunologist or other specialist, stating that they cannot be vaccinated.
