I got fairly far along in Downton Abbey (almost to the end of season 4), then it petered out for me. What I think killed it for me was the recognition that my own family had worked below stairs in these houses, and it wasn't very romantic.

You mean of unsafe's YouTube videos? That's about all I can make it through as well.

My NF is on life support right now. I have not been watching it enough to justify paying for it monthly so it is cancelled as of the end of this billing cycle. Though I am already reconsidering that given that the sequel to Godzilla: Monster Planet (one of the best Godzilla movies ever, only surpassed by the original and maybe 2016's reboot Shin Godzilla) is due in two months and is an NF exclusive. However, one movie (plus one more down the road since this is supposed to be a trilogy) isn't really enough to justify 11.99 a month (the cheaper package isn't worth it since you lose HD). If I could myself out of my rut and start watching all the stuff that's on my list, I could justify it easily, though.

7 seconds highlighted treatment of people who are black on Justice system, we'll, and other topics .

I can't get into any Netflix shows...hardly any appeal to me right now. I downloaded a couple of movies I have yet to watch before they expire.
Sometimes I think I signed up for Netflix because I didn't like regular TV shows on cable TV, but now that I have Netflix, I think it's just that I'm tired of TV in general.

I find that I just don't have much interest, even in stuff like the Marvel movies and shows that I would have been all over even a decade ago. My only real TV time tends to be my exercise time and with only 45 min., I find it easier to just pick stuff off Youtube (mostly music) than try to get into a TV episode that may be slightly longer than that or too short (sitcoms). In the end, though, it seems to be me losing some of my old tastes and not really finding new ones, though I do manage to get into stuff for short periods, then lose it again.

We enjoy Netflix. The quality of the shows we've watched has been good. I would keep it over cable I think.

Same. I'm just not sure I want to be paying for either right now. However, I still haven't convinced Mrs. M to start watching her newscasts (the National) online so we have to keep a basic satellite for that.

Just watched “ That sugar film”. An Australian who changed his diet from no sugar to two month of 40 teaspoons a day, which is the Australian average. Very informative and well made.
