I got fairly far along in Downton Abbey (almost to the end of season 4), then it petered out for me. What I think killed it for me was the recognition that my own family had worked below stairs in these houses, and it wasn't very romantic.
Sometimes I think I signed up for Netflix because I didn't like regular TV shows on cable TV, but now that I have Netflix, I think it's just that I'm tired of TV in general.I can't get into any Netflix shows...hardly any appeal to me right now. I downloaded a couple of movies I have yet to watch before they expire.

I watch so little that Netflix still keeps me happy-ish. Long as there's a BBC series I can revert to, I'm fine.
We enjoy Netflix. The quality of the shows we've watched has been good. I would keep it over cable I think.
