Hmm...

Too soon for the Gay Ray?
(Warren Ellis is my current fav in handling LGBTETC in a comic...which I'll admit is difficult to do...risking of fetishizing or why even bother?)

Embrace Diversity

Enjoyed the Sitcom
(Indian movies are very fun...bright exotic colours goofy humour and romances...give them a few more years and i betcha some will be complaining of white privilege lol)

Escapism at IDes finest and thus the primal power is indeterminate even if the fundamentals believe there is no dynamic to the earth's movement ... motivating one to get out and look back ... recollected?

I'm intrigued by this. A fantasy buddy-cop movie with Will Smith could be fun, assuming we're getting a classic Will Smith performance.

Overall, though, I was underwhelmed by what came out of SDCC this year. Most of the stuff I was interested in (this, the new Bladerunner), I already knew about. There were lots of trailers and announcements from the DC and Marvel movie groups but, to be honest, superhero movies are becoming old hat. Unless we get one that has an interesting twist, I'm a bit ho-hum on them now.

Finally got a chance to watch Risen from 2016.

Everybody should experience disappointment like that. It build's character.

Shout out to Tom Felton. You suck at not being Draco Malfoy. Sorry for your typecasting.

No. Sadly.

If you watch the actors closely you'd swear that they were wishing they were somewhere else doing something else.

Save for Felton who seems to be wishing he had another shot at playing Draco Malfoy.

The mystery Man was god .. disguised as a shadow persona as the Muse's determined that it was best if the Muse's didn't see the whole thing ... every time you look ... IDE's gone so God must've been an ephemeral spirit on the move as a scent on the wind ... the scents of wom-Ban as men didn't wish to know consequences of the drawing action ... the extraction of virtues, of good eaze ... thus the relax command ... soon you'll be unconscious ... kind 've like the walking dead creeping up ...

The Muse's are often portrayed next to the fates in myth and some cutting included in the conspiracy ... Edward Sissorhands or the Ancient of Days in the art of portraying what's past in God's domain ... timeless humus! Mortals can be dazed by this state of mine 'd!

Well, I've seen it before (several times, in fact) but Close Encounters of the Third Kind is coming back to theaters September 1 with an UltraHD video release to follow on Sept. 19. Still trying to pin down if it is the original cut or the Special Edition. Regardless, I'd love to see it again. It's been years and I adored it from the first time I saw it. One of my favorite Spielberg films.

A few times recently I've heard about new cinema technology that I'm eager to try. It's called "4Dx." Has anyone here seen a film in 4Dx? I'd be interested in your thoughts on the experience. I see that currently playing at the Cineplex near the Eaton Centre is Valerian in 4Dx.

A few years ago Yobo, our middle son, his cousin who was visiting from Korea, and I went to see a short film at Ontario Place that was in 4Dx. That was pretty cool. Don't know how cool a full 2-hour film would be though.

4D is space as 3D followed by energy for penne NG a script as writ right ... for those wishing to put intellect down in the rite of passions ... the writ should be non intelligible and thus alien po wet IHCs ... like PS alms are a given ... in the 146 Lord, Lord Oh mice ole ... a void ... there chi was ... gone ... like dark wave era ... Guar Vera?

Untouchable by David Feige

Heard him interviewed on Thaddeus Russell's "Unregistered" podcast.

Here's the description from the podcast's website
"
The 800,000 registered sex offenders in the United States live under a totalitarian regime. They are legally barred from living in large portions of the country and denied access to employment, housing, and public spaces. Their movements and even their thoughts are monitored and controlled by law enforcement officers. Their names and faces are reported to the public, and vigilante groups hound them out of their homes. They are considered by nearly everyone in America to be the worst and most dangerous creatures in the world.

Because the film Untouchable calls all this into question, film distributors and the media have considered it to be untouchable as well. In this episode of Unregistered, I talk to the film's writer, director, and producer, David Feige, who decided to take on what he calls "the darkest part of the criminal justice system." David formerly worked as a public defender in New York City. He is the author of the memoir, Indefensible: One Lawyer's Journey into the Inferno of American Justice, and co-creator of the TNT legal drama Raising the Bar. He is also the co-founder and board chair of The Bronx Freedom Fund, the first charitable bail organization in New York State. Last year he won the Albert Maysles New Documentary Director Award for Untouchable at the Tribeca Film Festival."

Its a brilliant interview with lots to think of (including one of my concerns, what of what I think is true or real was made by other people)

Herez a link to the website; Thaddeus Russell has a link where we get to input where we'd like to see the movie here Episode 17: David Feige

Herez another link to listen to the interview in yer browser.
