Probably Russian.

:sneaky: This is North Korea level propaganda from CBC.

What the Big Brother Media is doing right now is a coordinated attack on a movement The Party is clearly afraid they’ve lost control over.

They are even claiming a fake website is advancing “extremist” views within the separatist movement.

Russia has an extensive history of using shadowy means to influence and sow division during elections in France, Germany, the United States and during the Brexit referendum.

“Now, U.S. officials and influencers have joined the threat landscape, not through covert strategies, but through overt political bullying, deliberate provocation, and a powerful social media influencer ecosystem that has trained its attention on one of the most consequential fault lines facing Canada’s future: the Alberta separation movement,” says the report, titled National Unity Under Threat.

Meanwhile in Canada it appears the self checkout experiment has taken a new turn.

Grocery store theft is now allegedly a $10 billion problem.

I think the shiny reflective ribbons are likely for keeping deer away and/ or birds from hitting the window (though that’s usually about putting something in higher windows that birds may accidentally fly into), not just for decoration. Shiny objects that reflect light scare deer away, and maybe other wildlife that gets into gardens.

I love the cedar.
