So what is the best TEA made in CANADA?
I would have to look into that. We can't grow it here but there could be people doing blending here. If so, I have never come across them. My regular tea shop (locally owned but the owners are immigrants from the UK and import a lot from their homeland) has some Canadian blends, like a Canadian Breakfast and Vinyl Cafe (named for an old CBC radio show) but I am not sure they get them from. Research is needed, in other words.

Carney announces creation of Canada's first sovereign wealth debt fund?

Carney is borrowing $25 billion to seed this plan.

"If you have a bit of extra money we'll make it easy for you to invest in the fund to help build Canada strong for all."

This actually just sounds similar to Canada Savings Bonds (which got scrapped years ago), but with more volatility.
It's a bit different. A lot of resource producing states have these (e.g. Norway). Basically invests the state's resource revenues in markets, companies, etc. to generate returns that then can go into the state's revenues. Alberta's Heritage Fund is the classic Canadian example, dating back to Peter Lougheed's time as premier. The deficit-funded piece is the odd part in this one but i haven't had a chance to review the details yet.

The stated concern of the Sierra Club is that the $$$ will be used only to fund oil and lng projects that private investors won't touch due to risk.
