Like in a sects ... we folks occur when all are high-jacked ... by emotional risers ... once known as Eris! A dissonant term as Els ID ... sometime in Spain El Cid ... a game played with aD 'M .. a flock of youNG ladies wishing to pounce on the prince?

There can be words, or not ... thus words of nothing?

Chemgal, I understand that it is English convention to use "man" and "he" as generic replacements to indicate all genders. I don't like it.

I mainly don't like it because it conveys to little girls, just learning the language, that there are gendered jobs. I think it does subtle and permanent damage to young women.

Lucid or just Lucifer as he goes round rye as Estar in the morning sky! A sol can make a story from any related substance ... just to encourage interest and curiosity in a host of folk that didn't wish to know as children of love-God and all those nothings bean said ... the chaos may expand indefinitely ... differing from determinates to make things institutional as a wall to understanding what they don't ... sode ghost ... some appreciate soggy grounds ...

Personally, I've never been a fan of shortened, cute versions of words. I eat vegetables - not "veggies." I check the weather report for precipitation, not "precip." I receive mail from a letter carrier, not a "postie." I sometimes eat a popsicle, not a "fudgy-wudgy."

"Postie" is proper Australian slang for letter carrier. I like it.

English is a chaotic language system when you look at the composition ... 65 oppositional languages and dialects ...

What’s wrong with the word “ secretary”? Is it that we are used to secretaries being mostly female? The word doesn’t express it.
There is a Secretary of State, who usually is male.
What about “ nurse”? Another one we are used to females. Now, that is also related to breastfeeding, which males really cannot do. “ Male nurse”? We don’t really know how the person identifies themselves. Anything more neutral? Caregiver doesn’t really cut it.

The name worked on a horse that came first ... a Marah old time for the horseman ... once known as yeoman! Now you know about omens ... they are ominous to some welcome to those long w/o ... absence factors? Thus it wasn't ...

How about neurosis vs psychosis which may abet catatonics ? Some of the pathologic-type won't hear or see of it! Fear of the walking dead ... themselves but they don't know where this Pogo related scheme (conspiracy) originates ... an onus? There it rests o'nUS!

Canadians also use the term "Postie." At least, this Canadian does. Has been for over 20 years now. I generally reserve it for any employee of Canada post whether they be carriers, sorters or clerks.

Another thing to paste in the history books of the snowbirds ... as if weez knew anything different about genre and tense pluralities! The entire host ...

God is fun to play with right down to the letter man ... as darkly known regarding the origins thereof!

Consider the Hebrew icon of the first man ... א ... an unknown Eire as alef in other traditions to look under it for what's hidden! In Celt lands this could be Pete ... or nothing ... a concept where thoughts could reside ...

I don't understand what is wierd about this one, or what is wrong.

#1. Most people that run off items have the requirement to do a proof-reading. Missing something is a pain. It happens.
#2. If you are the admin assistant, then you would retype the bulletin, and also reprint.
#3. it is possible he handwrote his sermon, and didn't type. If her job description was to type the sermon, who cares. It is her job description.
#4. The family letter from a minsiter , same thing. if he writes, doesn't type, and it was her job description, it is no one's business other than M&P if for some reason they want the minister to become a typist, or they want a volunteer to type it

description. It was power over a woman by a man. So she typed (he couldn't) and he slept in his office

Canadians call a lot of things a lot of things. Does not mean that the words they call the things are right things to call them.

That was what I was trying to say - thank you Crazyheart. When she was unable to get the jobs done that were on her list did she say "Sorry - the minister kept me busy typing his/her Christmas letter for his/her friends and relations"????

When the secretaries (CSRs or whatever) are being referred to as 'the girls' I don't think that's helping advance anything.

"Going Postal" - gender neutral.
"The Girls" - breasts are paired structures located on the anterior thoracic wall, in the pectoral region. They are present in both males and females.

I don't presume it is a team. If it was in her job responsibilities, then it is her job.
If it isn't, then she can take it to M&P.

If her job was to print the publications, and there was an error which resulted in them reprinting, then yes, she would reprint. I would not presume someone else would.

There is likely more to it than you are saying ;however, based on the story, i don't see the issue.
