It's hard to go back to work [] today.

It's freezing cold here. 10-, and with windchill it feels like 20-.

The subway's very crowded today. Must be lots of folks returning from Christmas ^ holidays.

On board my train from St. George -> Queens Park, some commuter was coughing their lungs out.
 
Took decorations off the real tree and all the needles went everywhere! Tried to get it out the solarium door - challenge as it only opens 23 inches. Cherry juice got spilt on my quilt so bed is unmade and doesn't look like it will be by night.
 
Ah, the unalloyed joy of pine needles all over the carpet. One of the reasons I opt now for an artificial tree.
 
Thankfully it was all over the laminate flooring and not carpet...niece ended up sick this afternoon and we had a bit of a mess to clean up...thankfully she's fine now, everything got washed - including bedding and clothes, and my bed is made. Quite the day! On the plus side...we pulled out my old train set and niece was fascinated - said she'd never played with a train before 2016!
 
Normally, I'd leave the tree up till around Feb. 2nd, however, there was more tree on the floor than on the branches so it had to go...all the rest of the decorations, including the 4.5 ft artifical tree are still up and will be for a while.

You should have taken a video with your phone and posted it to youtube. I hope his lungs went back in after the coughing spell!:ROFLMAO:
